Accommodation at Magheramorne

There are a few rooms available at the venue, which we have allocated to guests. You will have received an email from us if there is a room available for you. Check-in is at 16:00 on Friday August 8th (we will have a shuttle bus from Belfast to the venue, details TBD). Check-out is Sunday August 9th ~11:00 (there will be another shuttle bus from the venue to Belfast). Breakfast is served at the venue on Saturday and Sunday morning between 8:30 - 10:00.

Shuttle Service

For those with accommodation at Magheramorne on Friday and Saturday night (you will have received an email about this if so), there will be a shuttle from Belfast-Magheramorne Friday afternoon and Magheramorne-Belfast Sunday afternoon. The bus will leave from Belfast @ 3:30pm at Donegal Square West (across from City Hall). Scott and/or Joanne will be outside Cafe Nero.The bus company is Belfast Mini Coach (logo will be on the side of bus).

For those flying into belfast

As many of you are flying in for the wedding, we are providing a few tips below: - You can fly into Belfast or Dublin. For those flying internationally, it is often cheaper and more direct to fly to Dublin. You can then take a bus from Dublin airport to Belfast or a train from Dublin city centre to Belfast, or rent a car. - Canadians will need to get an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) visa to enter Northern Ireland (the UK). The UK government has recently made it mandatory for travellers to get this visa. It is £10 and usually takes 3 days to process. Must Do's before or after the I Do's

Although we want you to create your own journey, we propose a few ideas which will not disappoint. History of Belfast- Black Taxi tour- Titanic museum Belfast PubsBelfast boasts a large amount of pubs and bars. It is in these establishments you can soak up an atmosphere unlike anywhere else. Whether you drink or not, we recommend heading down to the Cathedral Quarter (CQ) for a few. Here you will find a large selection of pubs in short proximity. If you are looking for the cheapest pint, use a handy pint tracker <a href="https://www.pinttracker.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">https://www.pinttracker.com/</a>Otherwise, we shortlist the below pubs. - Duke of York (CQ)- Dirty Onion (CQ)- The Thirsty Goat (CQ)- Harp Bar (CQ)- Maddens- Kelly's Cellars- Points North Coast GemsIf it is possible to rent a car, head up the coast (to the North). From a day trip to a few more there is plenty to do, from coffee shops, small towns, hikes, scenic views and surfing. The best way to discover the coast gems is to get lost on the way. We recommend driving up the small windy roads and stumble across the hidden beaches, castle ruins and scenic views. Below are a few spots we recommend to not miss along the way.- Murlough Bay (Take Torr Road from Cushendun)- Ursa Minor (Bakery)- Morton's (Fish &amp; Chips)- Giant's Causeway (Natural Wonder of the World) Wild Atlantic Way (The Wild Whest)If you plan to stay 7 or more days in Ireland, we would suggest driving along the Wild Atlantic Way. You could comfortably drive it in 1-3 days depending on how much of the coast you do, but we recommend spending at least a week as otherwise you will miss all the magic it has to offer. We spent 10 days driving through only 3 of the coastal counties. Every County in Ireland has (sometimes multiple) nicknames. The west coast counties hold titles such as 'Yeats County', 'The Heather County', 'The Tribesmen', and 'The Kingdom'.
