The closest airport is ORF (Norfolk, VA). From there, we recommend a rental car. The drive is approximately 3 hours but if you haven't been to the OBX, we recommend allowing some extra time to explore.
For the wedding day, we will be providing transportation via Hatteras Island Transportation. We will be setting up pickup times that will be staggered so that everyone can arrive in time to be seated for the ceremony. It is extremely important that you be ready at your designated pick up time. We'll follow up with guests attending so that we can give them the information the week before the wedding. Another option is to get a rental home. There are two rental homes on either side of the property that are linked below. If these homes are not available or don't suit your needs but you would like to rent a house, please let us know as The Inn frequently works with the rental companies in the area and would be able to help find the best location for your needs.
