A complimentary shuttle will be available to transport guests from the Fairfield Inn to BackRoads Retreat before the celebration, and return them to the Fairfield Inn at the end of the night. The first shuttle prior to the ceremony will be at 3:45 p.m, with the second shuttle at approximately 4:15 p.m. Following dinner, the shuttle will return to the Fairfield Inn approximately every 30 minutes.

Guests are also welcome to drive themselves to the venue, but are encouraged to park at the Fairfield Inn in Oskaloosa and take our wedding shuttle to the venue.

If you are driving to the venue, please note that Google and Apple Maps may direct you onto a secondary road that is not well maintained. For the best travel experience, please refer to and follow the directions provided below, rather than those generated by Google or Apple Maps:

Coming from Oskaloosa to BackRoads Retreat:

• Take IA-163 North toward Pella

• Turn left on 235th St.

• Go ~1 mile

• Turn right on to Highland Ave.

• Arrive at 2321 Highland Ave.

Coming from Pella to BackRoads Retreat:

• Take IA-163 East toward Oskaloosa

• Turn right on 235th St.

• Go ~1 mile

• Turn right on to Highland Ave.

• Arrive at 2321 Highland Ave.
