Q + A

What color(s) should I wear?

To help make our photos stunning, please wear one of our wedding colors, in solid print. Men in blazers/sports jackets and closed toed shoes and ladies, you as your gorgeous beautiful selves. I recommend something closer to cocktail casual since the ceremony is outside and we will be taking a boat ride that afternoon. Most of the walk to the outdoor location is on concrete but there will be a section that is hard packed dirt. Please no black, grey, or dark brown.

What are your wedding colors?

Jewel tones of a pink shade, a green shade, a medium blue shade (think Royal or sapphire, not dark navy), and a metallic gold (and pearl white but you can't have that color. ha!). I have uploaded some inspiration photos but feel free to reach out if you have any questions or they don’t come through well. The key is bright, saturated, colors. Please no grey, black, or dark brown.

What kind of shoes can I wear on the boat?

Our captain and first mate (Deb and Scott), usually have folks take their shoes off and store them in basket but for those who want to wear them, the following is preferred: Wear boat shoes or non-marking soles to preserve the boat's surfaces and maintain its pristine condition. Clean-soled sneakers or rubber-soled sandals are acceptable alternatives if boat shoes are not available.

What is "cocktail casual?"

Women: Long/maxi, short, tea length, knee length, are all fine when it comes to a dress. You are also welcome to wear a jumper/jumpsuit, romper, or slacks. No ball gowns. No stripes or print, just a solid print. Men: Ties are optional but a jacket and closed toed shoes are required. Jacket can be a sports jacket or blazer and bottoms can be jeans, khakis, slacks, etc. No real requirement there. Jackets and bottoms should be solid print.
