During the Haldi ceremony, a tumeric paste is applied to the bride and groom’s body by their close family members and friends. The yellow turmeric paste is believed to purify the body and soul, and it’s thought to bring good luck, health, and beauty to the couple. The turmeric’s vibrant yellow color is symbolic of auspiciousness and prosperity.

A Sangeet ceremony is a lively and joyous pre-wedding event filled with music, dance, and food. Garba is a traditional folk dance where dancers move in a rhythmic, circular motion, often clapping hands or using sticks (known as "dandiyas") in their movements.
The steps in Garba are simple yet rhythmic and graceful. Dancers often clap in time with the music, sway side to side, or spin. Some styles may also incorporate intricate footwork, hand gestures, and body movements, all while maintaining the circular formation.
During Dandiya Garba, participants use colorful sticks (dandiyas) to gently tap each other's sticks in a rhythmic pattern, adding an extra layer of fun and coordination to the dance.
