When and where is the wedding?
Our wedding will take place on Friday October 16th, 2026 at Castle Ladyhawke in Tuckasegee, North Carolina. The ceremony starts at 5:00pm, followed by a reception at the same location until 10:00pm.
What is the dress code?
The dress code is cocktail attire (aka no jeans). We want everyone to feel comfortable while looking great!
Please see the attire page for more detail.
Can I bring a guest or my kids?
Due to space limitations, we are only able to accommodate those listed on the invitation. If a plus-one is included, they will be on your invite and your electronic RSVP.
We wish we could invite everyone, but due to the space constraints, we’re unable to accommodate children. Thank you for understanding and celebrating with us!
What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?
Please let us know your dietary needs when you RSVP, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. There will be a menu posted prior to the wedding for your perusal!
Is there parking or transportation provided?
There is free valet parking available at the venue but as this is a mountain location there it is a pretty steep incline with multiple switch backs to get up to the venue.
There will be shuttles available from the Holiday Inn (hotel block location) for only those who choose to stay there. More Details to come.
What happens if it rains?
We have a weather backup plan in place. The ceremony will be moved to a covered location on-site, and we’ll update guests if there are any changes.
What is happening on Saturday after the wedding?
You are free to explore the beauties of western North Carolina! We will be having a lake day at Bear Lake Reserve and you are more than welcome to stay and spend more time with us!
Just let us know!
What is the home rental at Bear Lake?
There are homes available to rent! These fully furnished homes range in size and are perfect for couples, families, or groups of friends. Distances to the venue vary by home choice on the property.
Staying on-site at Bear Lake means you’ll be close to all the fun—plus, you can enjoy the resort’s amenities like lake access, hiking, dining, and more and be able to hang out with us on Saturday after the wedding!
Just a note that Bear Lake Reserve requires mountain driving. The roads are narrow, winding, and not lit at night.
Who can I contact with questions?
Contact Rachel Civale or Patrick Tighe with any questions! We are happy to help and are excited to see you there!
If you are hesitant about the driving contact Rachel. She has a video of the drive up to the venue for reference.
Unsure what to gift us?
Your presence is the greatest gift of all, but if you’d like to give something, we’d be so grateful for contributions toward our honeymoon fund! We would also love photo gift cards from our photographer NS Photobook (to help us frame our favorite portraits) or items from our store registry. Thank you for thinking of us!
See the links to the cash fund, photographer registry, and store registry under the registry tab.
When is the RSVP due?
We’re so excited to celebrate with you! Please let us know your plans as soon as possible after you receive your invitation—once we have final numbers, we hope to invite a few more loved ones if space permits.
For those of you who like a date we ask that you RSVP no later than June 1st.
