The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm. We encourage guests to arrive at the beach anytime between 4pm and 4:20pm. It will take 10-15 minutes after arriving at Ocean Edge to leave your car and get down to the beach.

Yes! There are rooms being held at Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club, located at 2907 Main Street, Brewster, MA, 02631. You may stay at their mansions (traditional resort, close to where the wedding and welcome party will take place). Mansion guests have access to all resort amenities, inclusive of the resort's private beach. There are other accommodations across the street on the resort's private Nicklaus golf course in the 'Villages' in either the Arbor or Britterige villas. Amenity access does not include use of the resort's beach, but there are Brewster beaches nearby. Please note that there is a 2 night minimum and check-in is at 4 PM. If you need the room to get ready in, it's highly advised from the resort to stay the night before. Please book early! Rooms on the Cape go very quickly. We have 18 rooms being held and will add more as they fill up, based on availability. There are other weddings and tourists staying at the resort that same weekend, so it's encouraged to please book your trip early. Parking is limited. You must park at one of the main parking lots of Ocean Edge Resort and Golf Club. There are various around the property, including the main resort's lobby, Bay Pines Indoor Pool, and the backside of the ballroom. There is a bit of walking between the parking lot, beach, and Bay Pines Pavilion (No more than 5 minutes). There is no parking by the beach or reception, but you may drop off or unload prior to parking.

Turn into the Ocean Edge Resort and Golf Club's main entrance from Route 6A in Brewster. Drive past the gate entrance and straight to the bottom of the circle. There should be a beach sign to follow to Bay Pines Beach. Can unload and walk straight to the end of the beach boardwalk (A 3-5 minute walk). Following the ceremony, guests are welcome to join us for a cocktail party poolside at Bay Pines Pavilion, followed by a formal dinner reception inside the Bay Pines Pavilion's tent. It is a 5 minute walk from the beach.

Since this is a Cape Cod beach wedding, please dress comfortably. Ideal to wear comfortable shoes that can go in the sand, be easily removed, and walk a little in. The dress code will be beach chic wedding/cocktail attire. You may also want to bring a light jacket or shawl for the evening when it cools down. Umbrellas are also advised in case it does rain. I also usually pack a backup outfit in case it is cooler than originally forecast. New England weather can be unpredictable, so it's always good to have options.

New England weather can be quite unpredictable! In early September, expect warm, humid days, followed by chilly evenings after sunset. Some years have shown blue, sunny skies, whereas others have shown clouds or rain.

The ceremony and cocktail parties are expected to occur outside without a covering. However, if it rains, they will move inside to Bay Pines Pavilion's tent, where the reception will occur. If it's light rain, please bring an umbrella in case it does take place outside. The dinner reception takes place in a permanent tent structure, so it feels like you are completely indoors.

There is handicap parking by the Bay Pines Beach or Bay Pines Pavilion. Guests may be dropped off prior to parking though. Please note, the beach boardwalk is a long walk and is not accessible via car. The resort does have a complimentary wheelchair that can go down the boardwalk and onto the sand, but please coordinate with us in advance.

Bar services at the beach bonfire are open, limited to beer and wine only. The cocktail party and reception will have a full, open bar all evening.

Yes, there is both Uber and Lyft on Cape Cod. There are also local taxi companies available.

We are not planning on having children at the ceremony or reception, but understand a lot of people will likely be traveling to the cape with their kids. We are evaluating options, like a babysitting service for Saturday. So please let the couple know if you will be in town with children.
