We met at work, where we quietly fell in love working three cubicles apart...

Rachel started working at Topiarius in 2019, only a few months after Dan, looking for an escape from retail. Rachel thought Dan was cute, and eventually mustered up the courage to ask him to come out for drinks with coworkers at Carol's Pub where, after some liquid courage, Rachel sat next to Dan and they talked over classic country.

A few months later, they went to the Art Institute, where Rachel put that Art History degree to use and gave Dan a highly professional tour of what she deemed "The Hall of Asses" (the Greco-Roman wing). They went for drinks, then got caught in the rain walking the entirety of the 606, then all the way up to Ravenswood (which was a very long walk). That was the night that Rachel knew something special was happening, in spite of Dan not kissing her.

Now, they share a dog named June and an apartment with Dan's three beautiful children, and a dream for a life filled with laughter, adventure and beautiful scenery. They hope to live happily ever after somewhere wild and wonderful, cackling all the way.
