Our Wedding

Our love story started as most modern ones do, with a swipe. Nick's prompts were just funny enough for Rebecca to take a chance and swipe right. Little did she know, she had just swiped right on her soulmate. Nick was very committed to meeting Rebecca, so much so that he traveled all the way to Baltimore to retrieve his phone that was stolen in D.C. so that he could still message her to schedule a date, and thus it began.. January 30, 2023 - The First Date A classic first date, dinner and drinks at a restaurant. Nick showed up fashionably late to keep Rebecca on her toes, but from the first moment he saw her, he was in awe. From that point on, they were inseparable. Each moment together, whether a museum date, a baseball game, or a night in, added another layer to their story. What began with a swipe quickly grew into something deeper, something rare. Nick and Rebecca weren’t just dating; they were building a life, one adventure and one ordinary day at a time. Two years later........ April 26, 2025 - The Proposal It was a rainy spring day in Washington, D.C. After brunch with Rebecca’s brother, Nick suggested they show him the city. The three wandered through the monuments, umbrellas in hand, until they found themselves in Constitution Gardens. As they walked, the rain slowed, and the sun began to shine. With the Washington Monument rising in the background, Nick turned to Rebecca, took her hands, and dropped to one knee. In that perfect, suspended moment, the world seemed to pause. Rebecca’s heart raced, her eyes filled, and she said yes to forever. What she didn’t know was that both of their families had been quietly watching from a distance, ready to join in the celebration. The rain stopped just long enough to mark the perfect moment. It was a proposal touched by fate and the promise of a lifetime together. May 2, 2026 - The Beginning of Forever And so, what began with a swipe has become a forever love story, one that continues with the next chapter on May 2, 2026!
