We both moved back home to Bend after finishing college and met each other in the same way all great love stories begin ... on Tinder. On our first date we ended up talking for four hours until the place closed for the night! Right off the bat we both had a pretty good idea that we had found our person.

Chris said "I love you" first - it was in Corvallis right after OSU beat U of O in the Civil War game.

We moved into our first place together. It was near Pilot Butte where you could watch the Fourth of July fireworks from the deck.

Enjoying the mountain together; we both grew up skiing.

Spontaneous trip to Alaska that we booked a week before we left. Rebecca was trying to convince Chris that we should move up there but it didn't work ...

Out cruising in our new car (our first big purchase together) - Chris got his dream car, a 2018 Subaru WRX.

Celebrating the end of nursing school for Rebecca and the beginning of a new chapter for us.

We bought a house! Chris was thinking of proposing on our first Christmas in our new house, he was even hiding the ring in this picture while he waited for a good moment to pop the question ... this didn't end up being the moment.

We decided it was finally time to grow our family; it was so much fun getting to look forward to meeting our baby.

Chris proposed! Rebecca had been so sick from being pregnant and working full time night shift that every time he tried to plan something during the day for a proposal things would fall through. We ended up going out to the mountains to watch a meteor shower and Chris asked Rebecca to marry him under the shooting stars at 3 o'clock in the morning.

We celebrated our engagement in the place we spend all our time these days while we remodel our house ... Home Depot.
