Amelia Island
Some tidbits of information to help with your travel plans!
The hottest event of the year (besides our wedding) is being hosted the same weekend: The Amelia Island Shrimp Festival. So book your accomodation swiftly!
The closest airport is Jacksonville International (JAX). It is about a 45 minute drive from the airport to the island. Rental cars and Ubers/Lyfts are readily available from the aiport. Airport transport is also available with the companies listed below. Take the A1A (Heckscher Drive) if you've got some time to kill - it's a nice scenic route.
If y'all are feeling real bougie, there is a private airport on the island.
We will be providing a shuttle service to and fro the wedding venue. Rideshare services on the island are limited.
