After 13 miles on horseback up to 9,000 feet elevation, guided by Abby's little sister, Izzy, Robert popped the question in the heart of the Crazy Woman Mountain in Montana. It was truly, and forever will be, one of the happiest days of Abby and Robert's lives. Abby was so surprised, she said "no" in disbelief multiple times before answering Robert's question, YES! (If you look closely, you can also see Abby cussing out Izzy for lying to her about Rob proposing that summer). When they got back to the ranch hours later, all the ranch hands and guests were there to celebrate, as the entire ranch was in on the surprise!

Fun fact: because they were at such high elevation, Abby had to ice her hand in the glacial lake in order to get the ring to fit on her swollen fingers!
