Rob immediately stood out to Heather (as much as anyone stands out on Tinder), probably because his younger sister Claire had curated his pictures. Rob drove from southwest Sydney to the northern beaches, called to let Heather know traffic had slowed him down, and got to Heather who had convinced herself she would be having dinner alone at Hemingways in Manly Beach. After accidentally booking a third date spot for a first date, Heather and Rob shared their meals and walked to get gelato before he drove her home. Then proceeded to drive through "the worst storm to ever hit Sydney" but he would've "died with a smile on his face". Not dramatic at all.

Heather loves to Salsa and many of her closest friends also love to dance. So Rob always wouldve been taken to a salsa social/party eventually. Unlike anyone else Heather had ever brought along, Rob watched all the crazy dancers and instead of being intimidated, just said "I want to do that". And did. It now means weekly dancing in the kitchen sessions normally cramming right before our next salsa class.

Heather and Rob throughout their relationship have been exploring different regions and wineries in search of their favourite reds!

Music has always bonded these two, with Rob going to Heather's gigs, them both going to country concerts and planning to eventually turn their garage into a music room. Rob even learned a Taylor Swift song on drums for her the first week they were dating. They've got tickets for Luke Coombs and Keith Urban this year.

Heather left the beaches and moved down to southwest Sydney where she gets to experience good coffee, mountains, wineries, and great pizza. They live close to Rob's family which means lots of family gatherings with great red wine.

Heather has been living in Sydney for 6 years and this was her first opportunity introducing Rob to the annual Halloween tradition that she and her friends adhere to. Dressing up and heading out to the local pub.

Christmas's in summer consist of dancing by the beach, jumping in the ocean, boxing day cricket, and family bbqs.

Heather and Rob love to go into the city and find new underground bars, good spots to eat, or english pubs.

Easter weekend camping. In a typhoon. We still book an annual trip so it didn't break us.

Rob met the American fam! He felt extremely welcomed and didn't feel like he was from the other side of the world.

Saw the best of Florida. Heather and Rob did a lot of fun things in the sunshine state. Everything from Disneyworld, to beaches and breweries. Rob loves the warm weather, so it was no surprise that he really enjoyed soaking in the sun and being able to wear singlet and shorts everyday.

Introduced Rob to proper Texas bbq. Rob's eyes were definitely too big for his stomach when he came face to face with the amount of delicious meat and various different sides that a Texas BBQ has to offer.

Heather and Rob brought home a golden retriever named Winston.
