Book at least Saturday October 11th 2025 at the Carrington Hotel as soon as possible to secure a room.

- Payment will not be taken out until you checkin so you can pay via booking payment method or choose to pay in person.

- Checkin is at 2 pm. As this is later than the bus pickup, please plan to be already wedding ready as there is no guarantee for an early checkin. There is a bathroom on the main floor that anyone can use for touch ups. Please complete any paperwork to checkin before getting on the bus so that the night manager when the bus return just needs to give you the key.

- There is free parking provided at the carrington hotel including 3 spots for an electric car fast charging spot.

If you choose another spot in Katoomba to stay the night or are relying on public transport from Sydney, please make sure you are on time for the bus which will be outside of the Carrington Hotel at 12:50 pm.

Please understand that hypothetically holding the bus delays the wedding.

The only backup will be taking a taxi/uber to the venue and you'll have your spot on the bus on the way home.

Parking at our venue is limited and will be used by vendors creating the day. This is why we've arranged the bus. For those who would like a spot on the bus please reach out.

If you miss the bus, there is a chance you will be turned away as there is truly no public parking nearby.

The closest area to park is Lithgow from which you can grab an Uber.

The last thing we want for our wedding is someone getting in an accident. The roads around the venues are narrow country roads that are dirt/semi paved. There are also Kangaroos and for the Americans there are loads of drop bears.

Please, please, please plan to be picked up by the bus in Katoomba and coached in and out of the venue. Let's leave the transport to the driver and not have to worry about counting drinks!

October 5/6

- land Sydney International Airport

-get an Opal card from right outside the trains in the airport

- take the train from the airport headed towards the city circle and get off at Circular Quay Station (pronounced Key not Quay).

- Get on a ferry going to Manly Beach

-Walk to the Hotel Steyne

-Check in but try to stay awake til at least 7 pm

October 7

- Enjoy Manly Beach

- Take a coastal walk

- Eat a proper brekkie

- Experience decent coffee

- Grab dinner with Heather and Rob (location tbd)

October 8

-Grab a cafe brekkie

- Walk to the ferry

- Ferry to Circular Quay

- Take the T8 train toward Campbelltown or Macarthur and get off at Cambelltown Station

-Quick taxi with luggage to the avis or Hertz (you could attempt to walk)

- Rent a car (please book this in advance)

- Drive to Camden Valley Inn (Stop at the Woolworths in Spring Farm if you want any specific dietary or food items)

- Check in and drop your stuff

- Walk through our neighborhood and come say hi and meet our dog Winston! Could also drive as it is a 1 km (15 min) walk

- We will have nibbles and drinks

- Dinner at the Wheeler House with Heather and Rob

October 9

- Brekkie at CVI

- drive into Camden and have a shop or a walk around

- drive to Picton and have a shop or a mosey about

- head out EARLY and head to Bowral and enjoy the antique stores a cafe AND a winery at Centennial!

- Pre Wedding Dinner! Tudor Room at CVI

- Wake up dusty and have a bacon egg roll at CVI or check out and head in to Camden for brekkie (Jally's or House of Art is a favorite)

- Book in to Escarla Hair for a blowout or Professionail for a mani pedi if you'd like! Narellan Town Centre is a great spot for a shop or even Macarthur Square if you want a mall with more choices.

- Get in the car and drive up to Katoomba, Blue Mountains. The Carrington Hotel has free parking!

- Check in to the Carrington then grab dinner in Katoomba

October 10th

-Brekkie in Katoomba

- Have a morning walk around, maybe even go to scenic world

- get ready for the wedding

- catch the bus from outside the Carrington Hotel at 12:50 pm

Exiting the country? - Drive back to Cambelltown train station and drop off the car. Grab the T8 line to the airport!

The best way to handle the jet lag, is by staying awake on the first day! Explore the Sydney CBD, travel to accomodation, eat good food, tour the opera house.

Arrive at the Sydney airport, navigate through customs, then turn right to exit the airport via the trains. Put money on an opal card to use on all public transport while in australia. Youll be able to top up via an app or at any train station.

One of my favourite places in the world is Manly Beach. Ideally at the beginning of the week you will avoid most crowds and enjoy some time eating good food, taking morning walks by the beach, and looking for whales as they will be migrating. Spend two or three nights here before heading down to camden!

Head down south of Sydney to our home in Camden via the T8 train line toward Macarthur. The stop to get off at is Campbelltown. Here you can rent a car or get an uber to the suggested accomodation (CVI). With luggage, walking from the station to the rent a car is not advised. Try to grab a taxi even though it looks close!
