Partner in crime since ‘94, Samantha is headed to ‘straya! Although her favorite aspect of the upcoming adventure is probably meeting Winston the golden. 
This is the first wedding the Cameron sistas get to have together as bride and MOH (thanks Covid) so they will be living it up with genetically terrible dance moves, millennial music, and red wine consumption. Heather can’t wait to intro her amazing sister to the Australian fam and show her what a good cup of coffee is like.

Samantha 

Kirsten and Heather met through salsa dancing and the love of a good cowboy boot, but bonded over country music, loving rocks, and travel. You never know when or where you find someone who chooses to learn and grow with you and having Kirsten as a friend makes Heather a better (maybe a bit more self reflective) version of herself. 

Kirsten 

Fellow avid reader, and gym buddy, Heather massively lucked out in the sister in law department. Liz has many girls nights ahead of her talking wedding shenanigans, but at least Heather has stopped prying for details on the proposal!

An ocean hasn’t kept these two apart as Heather has left the northern beaches and Kayliegh has moved to Spain! Heather met Kayliegh initially through Salsa dancing, then reconnected when Kayliegh reached out regarding her sustainable swimwear start up. Right time right place and they hit it off playing as much beach volleyball as possible!

Ben is Jack Sparrow to Rob's Will Turner.  They've been friends since Rob was assigned to give Ben a tour around the school as a punishment for showing up with frosted tips. Little did they both know that would be in nearly all the same classes and from there a friendship like nothing else was formed. There is nothing they wouldn't do for each other, despite it looking like they hate each other with constant wrestling matches that leave them both very bruised and sore the next day.

Mitchell and Rob came to know each other through another friend in high school. It wasn't long before they formed their own friendship with hours of listening to Blink 182 songs, to then both indulging in a Wendy's flake shake before our drum lessons that may or may not have been on the same day. Our bond over music lead to many singalongs in the car and plenty of local band shows, which Rob always loved Mitchell's commitment to getting a mic grab off the vocalist.

Mitchell

Rob and Jason's relationship has become more than just being Rob's brother in law. They have formed quite the friendship over their passion of playing drums, going to footy matches to watch Jason's team always lose and just simply knowing they can call each other up and be like hey what are you up to. Jason is always there to help Rob when he needs anything despite how busy he already is. Rob is grateful to have Jason in his life and has enjoyed the growing of their friendship.

Rob and Luke became friends in high school, but new each other before that from living living in the same area.
They would always be over each others house either after school or on the weekend. Rob was always intrigued by Luke's desire to know how to build, make or create anything, even if that meant potentially blowing them both up some experiment gone wrong. There was barely ever a time where they couldn't call or just rock up to each others house and make a big night out of nothing. Luke definitely knows how to keep himself busy, but this has not stopped him being there when Rob needs him.

Book at least Saturday October 11th 2025 at the Carrington Hotel as soon as possible to secure a room. - Payment will not be taken out until you checkin so you can pay via booking payment method or choose to pay in person.-Bring a physical credit card for incidentals-Have id.- Checkin is at 2 pm. As this is later than the bus pickup, please plan to be already wedding ready as there is no guarantee for an early checkin. There is a bathroom on the main floor that anyone can use for touch ups. Please complete any paperwork to checkin before getting on the bus so that the night manager when the bus return just needs to give you the key.- There is free parking provided at the carrington hotel including 3 spots for an electric car fast charging spot.

If you choose another spot in Katoomba to stay the night or are relying on public transport from Sydney, please make sure you are on time for the bus which will be outside of the Carrington Hotel at 12:50 pm.Please understand that hypothetically holding the bus delays the wedding.The only backup will be taking a taxi/uber to the venue and you'll have your spot on the bus on the way home.

Parking at our venue is limited and will be used by vendors creating the day. This is why we've arranged the bus. For those who would like a spot on the bus please reach out.If you miss the bus, there is a chance you will be turned away as there is truly no public parking nearby.The closest area to park is Lithgow from which you can grab an Uber.The last thing we want for our wedding is someone getting in an accident. The roads around the venues are narrow country roads that are dirt/semi paved. There are also Kangaroos and for the Americans there are loads of drop bears.Please, please, please plan to be picked up by the bus in Katoomba and coached in and out of the venue. Let's leave the transport to the driver and not have to worry about counting drinks!

Our ceremony and reception will both be held at our venue!

Recommended Itinerary for the Out of Towner's

October 5/6- land Sydney International Airport-get an Opal card from right outside the trains in the airport- take the train from the airport headed towards the city circle and get off at Circular Quay Station (pronounced Key not Quay).- Get on a ferry going to Manly Beach-Walk to the Hotel Steyne-Check in but try to stay awake til at least 7 pmOctober 7- Enjoy Manly Beach- Take a coastal walk- Eat a proper brekkie- Experience decent coffee- Grab dinner with Heather and Rob (location tbd)October 8-Grab a cafe brekkie- Walk to the ferry- Ferry to Circular Quay- Take the T8 train toward Campbelltown or Macarthur and get off at Cambelltown Station-Quick taxi with luggage to the avis or Hertz (you could attempt to walk)- Rent a car (please book this in advance)- Drive to Camden Valley Inn (Stop at the Woolworths in Spring Farm if you want any specific dietary or food items)- Check in and drop your stuff- Walk through our neighborhood and come say hi and meet our dog Winston! Could also drive as it is a 1 km (15 min) walk- We will have nibbles and drinks- Dinner at the Wheeler House with Heather and RobOctober 9- Brekkie at CVI- drive into Camden and have a shop or a walk around- drive to Picton and have a shop or a mosey about- head out EARLY and head to Bowral and enjoy the antique stores a cafe AND a winery at Centennial!- Pre Wedding Dinner! Tudor Room at CVI- Wake up dusty and have a bacon egg roll at CVI or check out and head in to Camden for brekkie (Jally's or House of Art is a favorite)- Book in to Escarla Hair for a blowout or Professionail for a mani pedi if you'd like! Narellan Town Centre is a great spot for a shop or even Macarthur Square if you want a mall with more choices.- Get in the car and drive up to Katoomba, Blue Mountains. The Carrington Hotel has free parking!- Check in to the Carrington then grab dinner in KatoombaOctober 10th-Brekkie in Katoomba- Have a morning walk around, maybe even go to scenic world- get ready for the wedding- catch the bus from outside the Carrington Hotel at 12:50 pmWEDDINGGGG-bus back to the CarringtonOctober 12thMeet us in Katoomba at Mountain Culture Brewery at 11 am and give us a hug goodbye!Seriously consider heading to go see the Bathurst race thats happening today about 30 mins past where the wedding venue is.October 13thDrive wherever y'all please! Go do wine country!Exiting the country? - Drive back to Cambelltown train station and drop off the car. Grab the T8 line to the airport!

Manly Fast Ferry

One of my favourite places in the world is Manly Beach. Ideally at the beginning of the week you will avoid most crowds and enjoy some time eating good food, taking morning walks by the beach, and looking for whales as they will be migrating. Spend two or three nights here before heading down to camden!

This is a fantastic place to stay that is easily walkable from the ferry.

Hotel Steyne

Come see our home!

Head down south of Sydney to our home in Camden via the T8 train line toward Macarthur. The stop to get off at is Campbelltown. Here you can rent a car or get an uber to the suggested accomodation (CVI). With luggage, walking from the station to the rent a car is not advised. Try to grab a taxi even though it looks close!

This is one of two main options for car rental outside of the city nearest to the train station close to the venue and our home. Highly advise using the public transportation system while in the city if at all possible. Parking is difficult and navigation is impossible.From the airport the T8 line to Macarthur getting off at Campbelltown is the best way to get to this Car Rental.

This is the most convenient accomodation in relation to our home. If you are attending our welcome bbq or dinner on October 8th/9th, this is the best place to stay. It is within walking distance or a fast drive from our home.
