Welcome to our wedding website!

We’re so glad you’re here. This site has everything you need to know about our upcoming celebration—travel tips, weekend activities, ceremony details, and a few personal touches along the way. Whether you’re local or flying in from far away, we’ve gathered all the details to make your trip easy, fun, and full of memories. Thank you for being part of our lives and part of this moment. We can’t wait to see you in June—rain or shine, it’s going to be magical.

Our Wedding

We met on Discord through mutual friends—bonding, as all great romances do, over a terrible Excel pun. One joke led to another, and soon we were deep in a back-and-forth that outlasted the rest of the conversation (and most of the group's patience). We started talking more while Robyn was in Hawaii with her sister and niece, and Tim was interviewing for a new job. Between outfit reviews and updates from opposite time zones, something sparked. Neither of us were looking for a long-distance relationship, but Tim invited Robyn to a “Friendsgiving” he was hosting for our online group. In person, everything just clicked. Robyn extended her stay, and we spent the week cooking, laughing, and generally being obnoxiously well-matched—Tim was the only one who truly appreciated her dinner prep Gantt chart. After she went back home, Robyn moped around until her mom (who had once flown to Texas to reunite with her own long-lost love) gave her the nudge: “Just go see him again.” So she did—and we’ve been inseparable ever since.

When We Met

The proposal came under the wing of a fighter jet (because, of course it did), after dinner and a Hans Zimmer candlelight concert. Tim says he was nervous. Robyn says he didn't phrase the question right the first time, so she made him ask again. ("Will you?" is not how you are supposed to ask it.) But she did say yes... eventually. Our favorite date spots range from the Arboretum to the power tools aisle at Home Depot, often capped off with a Sonic cherry limeade. But mostly, we love doing life together, whether that means tackling tough days as a team, refilling each other’s water bottles, or making sure the bird feeder is stocked. We make a good team—he handles the hard stuff, she handles the soft stuff... he handles all the soft stuff she pouts about not wanting to do—and we couldn’t be more excited to make it official. Even if that includes more trips to Michael's than Tim was ever expecting to suffer through in his life.

Our Story

Photos

For "not having a wedding party", we've certainly found ourselves blessed with a full team of wonderful humans who have key parts to play today (and every day in our lives). They're our movers and shakers—whether that means getting Robyn and Tim to respond to emails, or getting down on the dance floor, you'll find them close at hand.

Tim met Jonathan while working at Briggs Equipment and had a front-row seat to Jonathan's own love story as he fell in love with their coworker Amy (now his wife). We’re honored to have him lead the ceremony—he’s been a steady, joyful presence in our lives.

Jonathan

Robyn’s work BFF from Metia (and now at We.), who pulled her back into agency life after she rage-quit their last job, Lauren was the obvious choice for MoH. After watching her gracefully wrangle both toddlers and stakeholders (sometimes in the same meeting!) - she’s the only person Robyn would trust to wrangle the very different needs of her many girlfriends. A fellow project manager with impeccable taste, she’s the mastermind behind the bachelorette plans and the keeper of calm amidst chaos.

Lauren

Loyal friend and trusted keeper of the rings. T.J. is the only person who ever read the first (terrible) draft of Robyn’s novel all the way through, and he and Tim often team up in video games to lovingly provoke her—because they find it funny when she gets mad and screechy.

T.J.

Robyn’s niece and the smartest 8-year-old you’ll ever meet. She’s an expert in every kind of “-ology,” reads faster than we can check out books for her, and is taking her role very seriously after recently acing her flower girl duties for her Uncle Trent's wedding—expect excellence.

Emma

Readers

Tim’s brother, and one of Robyn’s first friends after moving to Texas. The life of the party and the one you want to get to know to get the TRUE dish - but also willing to throw down when necessary, or stop by to rescue an Unnamed Person who knocked their ladder down and got stranded on the roof. From covering for paintball gun welts to avoid incoming fatherly wrath to accompanying Robyn to musicals to save Tim's sanity, he’s family in every sense of the word.

Jamie

Robyn’s BFF from her Specialty’s café days. She’ll never let Robyn live down asking, “What time does the narwhal bacon?” to gauge just how online she was. Merissa is also the chief facilitator of potentially-terrible ideas—Robyn’s half-done-a-decade-later tattoo and the pink hair during COVID being some of the most notable winners. She’s long since been adopted into the family “Tier 2” roster: the kind of person who shows up at Christmas like she’s always belonged—because she does.

Merissa

Honorary Mention

Robyn's Sisters

Erin stepped in as unofficial wedding planner during peak 70-hour workweeks and basically made this whole thing possible with her legendary hosting talents. (She's still banned from requesting songs from the DJ though.) Amy has an incredible radar for when Robyn or Tim needs backup — whether that’s emotional support, fashion advice, or just a knowing look across the room. She’s always in their corner, no matter what.

Q + A

Travel

We’re so excited to welcome our favorite people to the PNW for a weekend of celebration! Whether you’re a local looking to fill a quiet morning or flying in for the full Seattle experience, here are a few of our favorite places to explore before or after the wedding

This is the quieter corner of Washington—think antique shops, misty trails, and coffee strong enough to fix jet lag. Snoqualmie Falls – A stunning, thunderous waterfall just a short drive away (and where Robyn learned to make a killer mocha in 45 seconds or less!). Easy viewpoint access or short trails for the adventurous - but please bring water if you're going to attempt the hike to the bottom of the falls.Downtown Snohomish – Full of charming antique stores, boutiques, and cafes. Come early and browse like you’ve got a turn-of-the-century ghost to impress.Blackman House Museum – For history buffs and those wondering what the heck was going on in small-town Washington in 1900.Looking Glass Coffee – A cozy, artsy local hangout with pastries, open mics, and solid drinks. Note: Ride shares are very limited in Snohomish. We recommend renting a car or planning to carpool. There’s plenty of parking at the venue for Saturday though.

Wandering Near the Woods (Snohomish + Surrounds)

If you're extending your trip, Seattle is full of weird, wonderful, and iconic stops—here's our short list. Pike Place Market – Yes, they throw the fish. Yes, it’s worth it. (But you can skip the Gum Wall and the "first" Starbucks. Trust us.)Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) – Formerly EMP, still one of the best spots for music, sci-fi, and pop culture nerds.MOHAI – If you're tech-inclined, curious about Seattle’s roots, or already near the rehearsal dinner on Thursday *hint hint*, this lakeside museum is worth the detour.Mox Boarding House (Bellevue) – Part restaurant, part game store, part nerd paradise. Great if you need an air-conditioned break. If you're trying to stay up north, check out Zulu's Board Game Cafe for a similar vibe!Kerry Park – For *that* iconic skyline view (best at sunset).Gas Works Park – For funky steampunk vibes and a fantastic picnic spot. Note: Seattle traffic is real, especially during event weekends—FIFA Cup World Cup 2025 is in town the same week as the wedding. We recommend avoiding Saturday night hotel stays in the city if you're attending the wedding; it’s about an hour away from the venue before traffic.

City Lights + Soundtracks (Seattle Picks)

June here means mornings might be misty, afternoons could be warm, and evenings are anyone’s guess. You might get sun, clouds, and a light drizzle all in the same day. Layers are your friend. Bring a rain-resistant jacket just in case, even if the forecast looks promising. Umbrellas are optional (Seattle locals will judge you, but Tim won’t). You’ll want comfortable shoes if you plan to explore gardens, parks, or downtown Snohomish’s cobbled antique-shop streets.
