For "not having a wedding party", we've certainly found ourselves blessed with a full team of wonderful humans who have key parts to play today (and every day in our lives). They're our movers and shakers—whether that means getting Robyn and Tim to respond to emails, or getting down on the dance floor, you'll find them close at hand.
Jonathan - Officiant
Tim met Jonathan while working at Briggs Equipment and had a front-row seat to Jonathan's own love story as he fell in love with their coworker Amy (now his wife). We’re honored to have him lead the ceremony—he’s been a steady, joyful presence in our lives.
Lauren - MoH
Robyn’s work BFF from Metia (and now at We.), who pulled her back into agency life after she rage-quit their last job, Lauren was the obvious choice for MoH. After watching her gracefully wrangle both toddlers and stakeholders (sometimes in the same meeting!) - she’s the only person Robyn would trust to wrangle the very different needs of her many girlfriends. A fellow project manager with impeccable taste, she’s the mastermind behind the bachelorette plans and the keeper of calm amidst chaos.
T.J. - Ring "Guardian"
Loyal friend and trusted keeper of the rings. T.J. is the only person who ever read the first (terrible) draft of Robyn’s novel all the way through, and he and Tim often team up in video games to lovingly provoke her—because they find it funny when she gets mad and screechy.
Emma - Flower Girl
Robyn’s niece and the smartest 8-year-old you’ll ever meet. She’s an expert in every kind of “-ology,” reads faster than we can check out books for her, and is taking her role very seriously after recently acing her flower girl duties for her Uncle Trent's wedding—expect excellence.

Jamie - Reader (and Brother)
Tim’s brother, and one of Robyn’s first friends after moving to Texas. The life of the party and the one you want to get to know to get the TRUE dish - but also willing to throw down when necessary, or stop by to rescue an Unnamed Person who knocked their ladder down and got stranded on the roof. From covering for paintball gun welts to avoid incoming fatherly wrath to accompanying Robyn to musicals to save Tim's sanity, he’s family in every sense of the word.
Merissa - Reader
Robyn’s BFF from her Specialty’s café days. She’ll never let Robyn live down asking, “What time does the narwhal bacon?” to gauge just how online she was. Merissa is also the chief facilitator of potentially-terrible ideas—Robyn’s half-done-a-decade-later tattoo and the pink hair during COVID being some of the most notable winners. She’s long since been adopted into the family “Tier 2” roster: the kind of person who shows up at Christmas like she’s always belonged—because she does.

Erin stepped in as unofficial wedding planner during peak 70-hour workweeks and basically made this whole thing possible with her legendary hosting talents. (She's still banned from requesting songs from the DJ though.)
Amy has an incredible radar for when Robyn or Tim needs backup — whether that’s emotional support, fashion advice, or just a knowing look across the room. She’s always in their corner, no matter what.
