Our Wedding

Alicia and Sam first met at DePauw University, where they crossed paths a few times and even had a few classes together. They graduated and went their separate ways. Alicia spread her wings to Maui and then Chicago. Sam went to Indianapolis before moving to Nashville. Fast-forward to 2021 and they both found themselves in a cute college town in southeast Michigan at a time when the whole world seemed to be locked down. Through a few mutual friends (and some persistence), Sam and Alicia found themselves spending a lot of time together. Their friendship slowly blossomed into a romance thanks to Alicia's dog, Clementine. Sam and Clem were fast friends and she became the perfect excuse to spend more time together. A few road trips, a handful of vacations, dozens of love letters, countless walks, two cats, and a lot of game nights later; Alicia and Sam are beyond excited to spend the rest of their lives together and celebrate with the people most important to them - all of you!

What is the attire?

Beach formal: Think tropical elegance! Light, breathable fabrics like linen or cotton are ideal for the warm weather.   For Women: A flowy dress or cocktail attire. For Men: A lightweight suit or dress shirt with slacks (jackets and ties optional). Please no Hawaiian shirts.    Footwear: Comfortable shoes or sandals are recommended.

What should I pack?

Daytime Essentials: Reef safe sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat to protect yourself from the Maui sun.   Evening Comforts: A light jacket or wrap in case it gets breezy after sunset.   Swimwear & Casual Clothes: If you plan to explore or hit the beach, pack swimsuits, cover-ups, and casual outfits.   Bug Spray: Mosquitoes can be active in the evenings.  Special Notes: Feel free to reach out if you have questions about the venue or attire!

Kahului Airport (OGG)1 Keolani Pl, Kahului, HI 96732 We recommend arriving before noon on Thursday to give you ample time to settle in and join us for a welcome hike Friday morning and at our Welcome Celebration at Ocean Vodka 5:00pm on Friday. Feel free to depart anytime on Sunday or stay a while to enjoy all the island has to offer!

Please visit their website to learn more about their accommodations. Additional Considerations:The venue and campground has limited cell service &amp; electrical outlets.For those not staying in the wedding party cabins, we suggest booking a tentalow well in advance.
