General Wedding Details
What is the attire?
Beach formal: Think tropical elegance! Light, breathable fabrics like linen or cotton are ideal for the warm weather.
For Women: A flowy dress or cocktail attire.
For Men: A lightweight suit or dress shirt with slacks (jackets and ties optional). Please no Hawaiian shirts.
Footwear: Comfortable shoes or sandals are recommended.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to space limitations, we are unable to accommodate additional guests. Thank you for respecting that only those listed on your invitation are invited
Can I bring my kids?
While we love all of our guests' little ones, we have chosen to make our special day an adults-only event.
Is transportation provided?
Transportation will not be provided for our wedding day. We highly recommend staying at Camp Olowalu, as it is conveniently located near the venue. Staying on-site will make it easier for you to enjoy the celebration without worrying about getting home safely!
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
We will be celebrating our special day with a beach ceremony at the always beautiful Camp Olowalu.
What airport should I fly into?
Kahului Airport - OGG - We recommend arriving before 12:00pm on Thursday to give you ample time to settle in. Please note it normally takes a few days to adjust to the time change.
Camp Olowalu Specifics
What is lodging like at Camp Olowalu?
Camp Olowalu, beautifully located on the southern coast of Maui, offers cabins and tentalows with en suite sinks, showers, dressing areas, and electricity in the cabins. There are no outlets in the tentalows, however, there are multiple charging stations throughout the venue.
What is a tentalow?
Tentalows are luxury "tents" that sit on a raised platform. Each tentalow has its own private, open-air shower, sink and dressing area. Standard Tentalows have two twin beds and Family Tentalows have four twin beds. Two of the three Family Tentalows are wheelchair-accessible.
What about electricity?
The cabins where the wedding party will be staying have electrical outlets and lighting.
There are solar powered lights within each tentalow. While the tentalows do not have electrical outlets, there are several communal charging stations where you can charge your devices.
What if cabins and tentalows aren't my cup of tea?
No problem! There is a plethora of housing accommodations (mostly hotels) nearby. See the "Travel" tab for a few of our recommendations.
What should I pack?
Daytime Essentials: Reef safe sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat to protect yourself from the Maui sun.
Evening Comforts: A light jacket or wrap in case it gets breezy after sunset.
Swimwear & Casual Clothes: If you plan to explore or hit the beach, pack swimsuits, cover-ups, and casual outfits.
Bug Spray: Mosquitoes can be active in the evenings.
