You can RSVP online (here!) until September 14th, 2023. After that, we will be (gently) hounding you. If you are no longer able to attend or need to otherwise alter your RSVP, please let us know as soon as possible so that we may extend your invitation to another guest and let our venue know.

Because we value the safety of all our guests, particularly those who are older or immunocompromised, we are asking all guests to confirm proof of vaccination prior to the wedding. Masks will be provided, but are not required. The Yale Club staff and our vendors are all vaccinated, and similarly follow state and federal guidelines in taking the same precautions, but as with any event, we only have so much in our control. We would ask that if you are feeling unwell on the day that you please not attend, absent a negative test.

Dress to impress, but don't stress! We encourage getting fancy, plenty of color, and whatever you feel most comfortable and incredible in! Fascinators? Fantastic. Red? Go for it. White? Might make you feel awkward! The Yale Club does not have a strict attire policy unlike some other social clubs, but generally endorses business casual, so jackets/suits and ties are encouraged if you are used to them. Anyone wearing heels: please be advised there are stone tiles on the ceremony and reception level floor!

Don't you love New York in the fall? The short answer is: it depends. Last fall we still enjoyed 70-degree evenings into November, but will update as we get closer to the day. We would encourage layering, particularly since cocktail hour involves an open terrace. There is a complimentary coat check available at The Yale Club in the lobby.

Ideally, somewhere in Manhattan! There is a block of rooms on site at The Yale Club (please check the Accommodations page). Space is limited! Otherwise, we recommend a location near the 4, 5, 6, 7 or Times Square S shuttle train lines for easy access to The Yale Club. Please feel free to reach out if you need additional suggestions for accommodation.

While we love you (and your kiddo(s)) very much, we are asking that you please leave them with someone you trust for the night and enjoy a date out! The only children in attendance will be those in the wedding party. If childcare is a barrier to your attendance, please let us know at help@samandspense.com and we will consider additional solutions if there is sufficient need. It's important to us that you can come, and we will try to make it work. Thank you in advance for understanding!

We wish everyone we love could come, however given our venue's capacity, we respectfully ask that you not RSVP for or show up with more people than your invitation allows for. We understand this is an inconvenience and can feel hurtful, but please know we have tried our best to balance invitations so that people we *both* know are able to come. If someone you care about and expected in attendance is absent, we are likely very sorry we could not invite them and appreciate your understanding.

Your presence is the present, as far as we're concerned! We are very fortunate to have lived together for several years, and have acquired all the material things we need. If you would still like to contribute a gift, we have set up a honeymoon fund and will have a box available at the wedding for cards. Whatever is comfortable for you, we deeply appreciate your thinking of us and attending—we know well how expensive traveling for a wedding can be!

This is currently being workshopped, so send us suggestions! We plan to e-mail everyone a Google Drive link to update all photos or videos you take and share around, so please add your email on your RSVP!

We've had a surprising amount of interest in this, so we are exploring a few options. While we're not ones for videography, we may designate a few friends to record and/or livestream on Zoom/similar. Stay tuned~
