It all started in 2004; Sean just moved to the Poconos from Staten Island. Little did they know, Sam only lived 2 blocks away! Sean's first year in Pleasant Valley, him and Sam were in the same fourth grade class. Shoutout to Mrs. Ware, wherever you are! Sam had a crush on Sean, and Sean didn't care about girls yet.

Sometime in 2008, Sam and Louie became good friends and realized they live down the street from each other thanks to AOL. Louie also happened to be best friends with Sean. Thus, Sam and Sean meet again; this time as awkward 13 year olds. This 8th grade year held many walks around the block, hanging out in Sam's garage, Sam teaching Sean the Rugrats theme song on her piano, witnessing various parkour sessions, many pool parties, skateboarding, and Sean skateboarding into Sam's pool. Once again, Sam had a crush on Sean, and Sean didn't care about girls yet. (A reoccurring theme) The next few years after 2008 involved a lot of moving for Sam, and with that, some distance between her & friends including Sean. ~ Fast forward to April of 2017. Sam ran into Louie at a CVS parking lot. They rekindled their friendship & Louie offered for Sam to come rent his house with him and friends. Louie texted Sam to meet him in Sean's parent's driveway to discuss details. Sam saw Sean for the first time in 10 years. From 13 years old, to 23 years old. The spark still struck, and again; Sam had a crush on Sean.

Early July of 2017, Louie brought Sam to what we all know as "The Pond". She almost didn't go, and where would we be if she didn't? Sam met Alek, rekindled friendships with Skye and others & this was the first time Sean & Sam started talking. That night at the pond is a crucial memory and mark in Sean & Sam's relationship. They talked, they swam, they exchanged numbers. The pond was a place Sean spent so much of his time with all of his friends. After many pond hangs, and volleyball games, Sean & Sam started dating. What was a random plan to hang out, turned into a random night of watching a Bob Ross Netflix series, awkwardly holding hands & staying up til 5am telling each other our life stories. With little sleep, Sean left for work, but not before making the first move. The following day, they started officially dating.

Almost 5 and a half years later, during Christmas Eve Pollyanna, Sean & Sam got engaged! After countless teasing once they knew engagement was in their future; Sean tricked Sam into thinking he'd propose in the spring or summer. Somehow Sean smuggled this ring in the tiniest jean pocket to Sam's brothers house. He secretly informed Dom & Richie about his plan so it could be caught on camera. To her surprise, Sean proposed surrounded by Sam's older sister, older brother, mother, aunt, cousin, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, three nieces, and one nephew. Whatta guy.

Now, here we are. Living together, working several jobs and weird hours, going to school for our future & planning our wedding. We can't wait for our big day to come, and to celebrate this important part of our story alongside everyone we love.
