What’s the dress code?

Formal attire — think timeless and elegant. Men in suits or tuxedos, women in long dresses, elevated cocktail attire, or formal gowns.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to space limitations, only guests listed on your invitation are invited.

Are children welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Both will take place at Glen Manor House.

The ceremony will be held outdoors on the lawn overlooking the water (weather permitting), while cocktail hour and the reception will transition throughout the different indoor and outdoor spaces of the property.

What will the weather be like in May?

Rhode Island spring is usually mild, with temperatures typically ranging from the 60s–70s.

Evenings near the water can become chilly, so we recommend bringing a light wrap or jacket.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes — Glen Manor House has on-site parking available for guests.

Cars may also be left overnight if needed; we simply ask that vehicles are not parked directly in front of the house.

Will transportation be provided?

We are currently arranging shuttle transportation to and from a central location in Newport for the wedding.

Shuttles will bring guests to Glen Manor before the ceremony and return to Newport afterward so everyone can enjoy the evening safely and comfortably.

We’ll also have shuttles bringing guests into Newport after the wedding for late-night drinks and celebrating together.

Additional pickup details and timing will be shared closer to the wedding weekend.

What’s the best way to get around?

If you’re spending the weekend in Rhode Island, we recommend renting a car, as Newport, Portsmouth, and the surrounding coastal areas are easiest to explore by driving.

Uber and Lyft are available, though wait times can occasionally be longer during busy weekends.

Where should I stay?

We do not have formal hotel room blocks.
