*if you are car camping please follow signs for parking, NOT camping!

Access to the tenting spots will be through our neighbours access road (Winderdome Resort). If the gate to the access road is closed when you come up to it you may open it, but please close it behind you. Be very careful on this road as it is only wide enough for one vehicle and it is not our road, please be respectful.

From the access road there is an opening on your right in the fence with a small blue sign on it. This is the access to the tenting spots and it is shown in the picture below. Please do not drive farther down the access road as it is on private property. You will be driving on a rough trail, the vast majority of cars will be able to access it but if your car has exceptionally low clearance you may want to consider parking close to the fence and walking in. Please only park on the inside of the fence.

There are orange stakes scattered throughout the space to mark potential camp spots, these are not strict but will most likely be the easiest to set up a tent considering the hills and trees. Stakes may be hidden so please don’t hesitate to adventure to find the best spot, but be mindful of property lines. There are many stakes farther down the trail.

*Feel free to move stakes if they are in your way!

*Please be mindful of the space, we have a lot of tents to fit. While setting up your tent please do not block the road so cars can come and go as they please!

*Please be mindful of where you park your car, don’t take a tent spot and don’t block anyone in

*There is a black cord laying on the ground, this cord is not live, do not worry about driving over it or touching it, it is safe!

*Please be mindful and respectful of our neighbours, the fence marks the property lines and the road is technically the neighbours so please be respectful, but feel free to explore within the fenced area.

*Be wary of ant hills when setting up your tent

***BE BEAR AWARE***

This is bear country and there are plenty of wildlife that use the land for their homes, please for you and your fellow camper’s safety do not keep any food or attractants (ie, anything smelly) in your tents or in the area. If you have brought snacks or toiletries please have them locked in your vehicle.

*Many of the trails you will see are elk trails, so please be cautious of them as they frequent the area. They will generally stay away from people but they are very large animals.

*If you are car camping please use the parking lot closer to the venue as the tenting space is fairly tight

*Make yourself at home, don’t hesitate to try a new spot if it is free

*For safety please use the road to walk to and from the venue as there is barbed wire fencing along the top of the hill

**There are showers at the venue space for your use, please be mindful of cleaning up after yourself and keeping them dry as these are the main bathrooms for the event and will be used by many. There is also a portapotty in the tenting area!

*Both our property and our neighbours are being used for this event so don’t be too concerned about noise level but do be considerate of tenters who may be headed to bed early! (if you have an early bedtime consider putting your tent further from others or bring earplugs)

*Consider bringing a flashlight, bear spray, extra toilet paper(you never know), a sleeping mat as the ground is bumpy, earplugs, advil, bug spray and sunscreen…

***PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF, LEAVE NO TRACE

***Thank you so much for joining us this weekend, we are so excited to celebrate with you!
