The dress code for our celebration is Dressy Casual. We would like for everyone to be as comfortable as they can. Due to the grass in the yard, high heels may be tough to walk around in.

Both the Ceremony and Reception will take place at our family property in Windermere. This is a 27 acre property near the base of Mount Swansea. There will be signs on the road to direct you to parking and the property. It will be an outdoor celebration in the yard outside of the house. There is plenty of grassy areas and we will have a large tent set up for the reception.

There will be parking up by the house, and we will also be utilizing the Mount Swansea parking lot a short walk away for overflow. Campers will be able to park near their tents, a short walk up a hill to the Venue area.

There will be plenty of space on the property for anyone who would like to camp in a tent. There will be a limited amount of space for trailers or RVs so please contact us if you would like to bring a trailer and we will be happy to try and accommodate that! For anyone who is not considering camping, please refer to the travel page for some accommodation ideas. As the wedding is taking place on the Canada Day long weekend please search for hotels as soon as possible.

Due to the grass in the yard and the hilly nature of the property it may be tough for anyone in a wheelchair. Please contact us if you feel this would be an issue and we will be happy to try and accommodate as best as possible.

We are working on providing a shuttle for after the celebration to do a few drop offs at local hotels.

There will be a porta-potty near the camping as well as some near the venue area a short walk away from camping. We have rented a shower trailer that is equipped with 3 full bathrooms. These bathrooms will be used as the main bathrooms for the event so if you are using them to shower please help us keep them clean and dry. Please bring your own towels and soap as the showers will most likely not be stocked.

Your presence at our wedding is gift enough, but if you would like to donate to our honeymoon fund that would be greatly appreciated!

There will be some complimentary drinks available, otherwise we will have a toonie bar open from the beginning of cocktail hour until late. Smokehouse 93, a local restaurant in Invermere, will be catering dinner and late night snack. There will be vegetarian and gluten free options, please state your dietary restrictions in the RSVP section. Yum Bakery, a local bakery in Calgary will be catering desserts and hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour

We will have drink tickets available for purchase that are $2 each, cash only! Also feel free to byob if you are concerned about cost. The bar will be open from 4 - late
