Jackie Harris - Maid of Honor
Jackie is Sarah's Maid of Honor...but if you were to ask Sarah, the true honor is to know Jackie. You may recognize her if you watch Family Feud. Jackie has been Sarah's best friend since Junior high. Their friendship has grown extremely strong over the years, despite always living in different provinces from one another. Fun fact: Jackie and Sarah actually go way back as they knew each other since grade 1 catechism class...but ask Jackie how she really felt about Sarah back then. Let's just say they weren't always best friends...One thing you will learn is that Jackie is the comedian in the friend group, so Sarah and Luke's wedding day would be extremely dull without her.
Brooke Pineau - Bridesmaid
Brooke is basically the sister Sarah never had. She has been by Sarah's side since they were little...mainly because they are cousins so they were forced to be around each other...Sarah and Brooke started being friends by choice in Junior high and have been best friends ever since. Fun fact: there used to be a lot of confusion as to whether Luke was dating Sarah or Brooke in high school because the three of them were always together. So, it's only fitting that Brooke will third wheel Sarah and Luke on their wedding day too.
Katie Gaudet - Bridesmaid
Katie is Luke's older sister, and for the past 10 years Katie has not only been like a sister, but also one of Sarah's greatest friends. Fun fact: Years ago, Katie had walked in on Sarah and Luke being "intimate"... and 30 seconds after storming out of the room, she texted Sarah saying "Come to my room, now!" When Sarah walked into Katie's room absolutely mortified, Katie simply said "OK, sit down I need your help picking out an outfit for tonight." Let's just say, Sarah has grown to be extremely comfortable around Katie over the years.
Krista Lee Stewart - Bridesmaid
Krista Lee ("Krissy") is Luke's oldest sister, and soon to be Sarah's too. Krissy was always the sister that Sarah was a little afraid of when she first started dating Luke...but it wasn't long before Sarah started to look up to her as a big sister. Krissy has been a huge part of Sarah's life for the past decade and she is the reason the Olivers are such a tight knit family. Fun fact about Krissy is she loves to take pictures. So, everyone be on their best behaviors at the Wedding, otherwise facebook will know about it the next day. Sarah is lucky to have not only one, but two soon to be sisters standing by her side on her and Luke's big day.
Sami-Jo Millman - Bridesmaid
Sami has known Sarah the longest, as they are childhood best friends. Sami's favorite things to do growing up were knocking Sarah's teeth out with her skidoo, falling down stairs and off trampolines, and holding Sarah's head under water in her pool to pretend to be the lifeguard who saves her from drowning. Sami and Sarah have a lot of funny history, so if you want any embarrassing stories about the bride... Sami is your girl. Sami has stood by Sarah's side for every phase in life, so obviously you will see her standing by Sarah's side on her wedding day too.
Breeanna Costain - Bridesmaid
Bree and Sarah have known each other since elementary school as they travelled on the same bus. They only became friends a few years ago, when Bree started dating Luke's friend, Alex (groomsman). Bree quickly became one of Sarah's best friends and they rarely ever go a day without chatting. Fun fact about Bree: she is the most honest person you will ever meet. So, if you are wondering whether your outfit is nice enough for Luke and Sarah's wedding, don't bother asking Bree, because it probably isn't. Bree is the friend everyone needs in their corner and Sarah is lucky to have her standing by her side on her wedding day.
Madison Deagle - Bridesmaid
Madison has been one of Sarah's best friends since high school. They were in French immersion classes together and that is where their friendship began. Fun fact: Sarah and Madison only ever communicate to one another in French...Just kidding. Madison is a true, honest friend who cannot seem to hold back her facial expressions at times. If you happen to look over at Madison throughout the wedding day, just know she is definitely having a good time, although it may not look like it. They say only 5% of high school friendships last, so Sarah is lucky to have Madison stand by her side on her wedding day.
Mandelle Oliver-Jeffery - Bridesmaid
Mandelle is Luke's first cousin, but is now one of Sarah's closest friends. Sarah had the privilege of meeting Mandelle on an Oliver family trip back in High school...except Luke wasn't even there. Rumor has it, Luke wasn't even really invited? Just kidding. Mandelle quickly became one of Sarah's best friends, but she unfortunately has many embarrassing stories about the bride. Fun fact: Sarah became famous back in University from an extremely embarrassing video that went viral online. Mandelle is to thank for that as she was the one who sent the video in. Who needs to hire entertainment when you can simply have Mandelle in your wedding party?
Brandon Forsyth - Best Man
Brandon is Luke's Best Man today and every day. Brandon and Luke are childhood best friends and their friendship has remained as strong as a shot of whiskey to this day. Fun fact about Brandon is that he is extremely shy. So much so, that he is considering pre-recording his speech before the big day so that he only has to lip sync at the wedding...Brandon and Luke share a lot of memories and fortunately for Brandon, he has seen Luke at his best and most definitely at his worse. If anyone is looking for some embarrassing stories about Luke, Brandon is definitely your guy. Luke is very lucky to have a friend like Brandon standing next to him on his big day.
Riley Avery - Groomsman
Riley has been one of Luke's best friends for a very long time. Fun fact about Riley is that he actually identifies as an outlaw...more specifically, Waylon Jennings. So, if he doesn't answer to "Riley", you should be able to get his attention by yelling "Waylon". Riley is an old soul just like Luke and they bond over old country music and cold beer. You can most definitely catch Riley on the dancefloor once his genre of music comes on, otherwise you can find him at the bar. Luke is lucky to have a friend who shares his taste in music and liquor, but thankfully not women.
Matthew Corcoran - Groomsman
Matt is Sarah's oldest brother and has always taken the role very seriously. Fun fact: No boys were ever allowed near Sarah unless they "wanted to be killed". That is until Luke came around. When Sarah finally worked up the courage to tell Matt that Luke was coming over for the first time to hang out with her his response was: "OH, Krista Lee's brother? Awesome, have fun!" Matt clearly knew Luke was the one for Sarah from day 1. Sarah is thankful that Luke has not only survived big brother Matt, but he now has not only one, but the 3 brothers he never had.
Liam Gilks - Groomsman
Liam is another one of Luke's childhood best friends. When they were younger, they played a lot of mini sticks together. One time, Luke fell backwards and left a large hole in Liam's wall. But if you were to ask Luke, it was definitely Liam's fault. Fun fact about Liam: He actually spent a lot of time with Sarah and Luke when they first started dating. They spent most of their time playing tennis and pranking local businesses...Liam will most likely pretend that he doesn't remember any of this, so feel free to ask Sarah or Luke about it. Liam has been a great friend over the years and Luke is lucky to have him stand by him on his wedding day.
Alex Morrissey - Groomsman
Alex has been one of Luke's best friends since they were young as they grew up playing hockey together. Luke and Alex are a lot like Bert and Ernie, if you can picture it. They always have each other's backs no matter what. The only difference is, they don't live together...although they probably wish they did sometimes. Fun fact about Alex: He can recite the entire movie "The Ringer", "Step Brothers" and "The Hangover"... so if you want to start a conversation with Alex, you should probably brush up on those movies. Luke is extremely lucky to have a friend like Alex stand by him on his big day.
Connor Morrissey - Groomsman
Connor has been one of Luke's best friends for many years as they also grew up playing hockey together. Connor and Luke have not only had the privilege of playing together, but they now also coach together. Luke and Connor have a lot of funny memories together, some that include Luke falling into ditches...Ask Connor or Alex for the details of that story. Fun fact about Connor is that he actually spends a vast majority of his day in the bathroom. You can even ask his wife, Hayley, and she will gladly confirm. If you are looking for Connor at any point, check the washrooms because he is most likely in there. Luke is lucky to have a friend like Connor stand by him on his big day.
Jody Stetson - Groomsman
Luke met Jody back in Junior high and first impressions were definitely not great for these two. Luke was actually on a double date (with the girlfriend he had before Sarah came along...), and Jody was sitting a few rows down from them. Jody was actually trying to pick up on Luke's date and get her to ditch Luke for him. Let's just say Luke and Jody almost got into a fist fight in the movie theatres parking lot that night. Fun fact: Sarah actually did (accidentally) punch Jody in the nose back in Junior high, so I guess you could say Sarah was fighting Luke's battles for him before they even met. Fast forward to high school, Jody and Luke got off on a better foot and have been good friends ever since. Luke has finally forgiven Jody and is happy to have him stand by him on his wedding day. But has Jody forgiven Sarah?
