It all happened on Kauai Beach! While planning our vacation in Kauai Julian made sure to ask Sarah to reserve a day where they could relax and unwind without any other plans. Little did she know that would be the day he would propose.

After enjoying drinks by the pool and relaxing, Julian asked Sarah to head out to the beach to take some photos before dinner. That’s when she began to realize what was to come. After four outfit changes, they walked out to the beach one last time.

Julian had gotten Robert, an employee at the hotel, to wait by the beach and record the moment. Robert was trying to hide, but no mere bush could obscure him. When Sarah recognized the phone in Robert’s hand she knew what was coming. A few more steps into the sand, and under the only tree on the beach, Julian kneeled and asked Sarah to marry him.

Robert then led Julian and Sarah through exchanging Hawaiian bead necklaces and saying I love you in Hawaiian. It was a magical moment that they will never forget.
