Please utilize the RSVP section of our website and if possible leave an email address so we can contact you about wedding updates!
What is the preferred wedding attire?
The wedding will follow a cocktail dress code. The event is completely indoors, but there are some outdoor areas for guests to enjoy if they wish to, so bring a jacket!
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Due to space constraints at our venue, we are regrettably unable to extend invitations for additional plus ones. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!
Am I able to bring my children?
We love your little ones, but unfortunately due to space constraints we are only able to extend invitations to children of immediate family members and those involved in the wedding ceremony. We appreciate your understanding.
Where can we park near the venue?
The Cooperage has a 60 car parking lot that can be used by guests for no charge. However, this lot is shared with another establishment so availability is not guaranteed. If the lot is full, you can park on Water Street (the street our venue is on). If you decide to leave your car overnight, you do not need to call the City as this is not required on Saturday nights.
Can the venue accommodate dietary restrictions?
YES! That being said, please let us know as soon as possible so we can coordinate with our caterer.
What is the weather like in Milwaukee in November?
Good question, not a good answer. November in Milwaukee can be unseasonably warm or VERY cold, even bringing snow. In fact, some years we get snow as early as October. Rest assured, our entire ceremony and reception is indoors (there is an outdoor space guests can use if they'd like with bonfire pits, but all major events will be out of the elements).
For our non-Midwest friends and family, we highly encourage checking the weather about a week (or even a few days) before your departure. If you are flying in, again keep in mind that we can and do get snow this time of year. Flight cancellations are not common, but they do happen.
The airfare is much cheaper flying into Chicago, is this a reasonable travel option?
Absolutely! There are times where flying into Chicago can be more cost efficient, depending on where you are coming from. O'Hare Airport is about a 90 minute drive from Milwaukee, and Midway Airport is about two hours away. Do keep in mind that Midway can be more impacted by Chicago traffic (depending on the time of day) because it is further south of the city. Additionally, flying into either Chicago airport will likely require a car rental as public transportation between them and Milwaukee is not very efficient nor cost effective. As such, you may find that flying into Milwaukee is still the cheaper option.
