The Hilton Garden Inn - Downtown Milwaukee is in what used to be the home of Northwestern Mutual, dating back all the way to the 1800s! The building itself is on the National Register of Historic Places and has some incredible history to view and architecture to enjoy. Northwestern Mutual moved down to the lakefront about 10 years ago, and this beautiful building was then transformed into the Hilton Garden Inn.
This hotel is walking distance from several Milwaukee staples, including the Historic Third Ward and Public Market, and is also on the free Milwaukee Streetcar System (known as The Hop), which can get you to other parts of the city.
