It's our rehearsal dinner and everyone is invited! Join us at our friend Pasquale's beautiful restaurant overlooking the rocky coastline of Cefalù. We are in the heart of the old town city center, a stone's throw from the Duomo and tons of sightseeing/shopping. But make sure to arrive on time so not to miss the most beautiful sunset imaginable. Then let's eat pizza and drink wine! (This is also the birthday of a very important guest, so be prepared to sing "happy birthday" in Italian.) Pizza and salad and vino, certo.

Italians are always appropriately dressed for the occasion. They don't wear workout clothes when not exercising and they don't wear pajamas on airplanes. Apply that theory to this wedding. It is black tie, but that doesn't necessarily mean a tuxedo and a bow tie (big props if you want to go that route). A simple suit is fine. Our wedding is formal, but not in the high school dance sense. Wear the thing that you've never had an occasion to wear because it felt too fancy or, even better, too dramatic. But nothing camp or kitsch, please. Elegant. Bold. Floor length. Interesting. The sea is calm; make a splash. Wear the thing that makes you feel like you're at a beautiful outdoor wedding overlooking the Mediterranean in Sicily, because that is, in fact, the occasion.

Have a caffè, cornetto, granita e brioche to close out the weekend.
