No! The church ceremony and the reception are all inside.

Transportation is not provided. We recommend our guests drive to the church and stay at the hotels downtown.

Complimentary event parking is located in the top and bottom decks of the parking garage located directly behind the hotel with entrances on 8th and Main Street. Overnight self-parking is $12 per night and Valet parking is available for all guests at $17.

Black tie optional. What does black tie optional mean? A floor-length dress is preferred for women. However, it is acceptable to wear a cocktail dress that is midi or knee length. Men should wear a tuxedo if they have one, otherwise, wear a black or navy suit with a tie.

Lynchburg has a regional airport that only goes to and from Charlotte. If you are traveling from somewhere, you will connect in Charlotte. A few airports you could fly into and then drive to Lynchburg include Roanoke (ROA), Charlottesville (CHO), Richmond (RIC) or Raleigh (RDU). We are so appreciative of those who are traveling in from out of town. It means so much to us that you are willing and able to join us!

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is exclusively for adults.

You will be dearly missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" (when the RSVP becomes available on the website), so we can plan accordingly.

Our ceremony will be "unplugged" meaning we are asking all phones and other devices to be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony so all guests can be fully present with us during this time. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you want!

Yes. We suggest all out of town guests try to stay at a hotel downtown, within walking distance of the reception.
