The average daily high is 82 degrees and the low is 52 degrees.
Is the wedding Indoor or Outdoor?
Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors. The reception will be in a climate controlled tent. We will have cocktail hour outdoors as well as an outdoor dance floor.
Will there be an after party?
Yes! Due to local noise ordinance, the reception has to end at 10pm. For those who wish to keep celebration going, we plan to head to the Great Northern Bar. There will be transportation provided from the venue to downtown Whitefish!
How far is the venue from downtown Whitefish?
The venue is 1 mile from downtown Whitefish and provides free transportation to and from Whitefish as well as airport pick up and drop off if you are a guest there.
Are kids invited?
We have decided to keep our wedding as adults only, 21+ are invited. We encourage you to take this as a date night! If you need suggestions for childcare in Whitefish, the venue provides multiple recommendations that we are happy to share.
Can I bring a guest?
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guests. We can only accommodate those formally invited on your wedding invitation.
Is there anything to do in Whitefish?
Yes! Whitefish is a pretty big small town. There are tons of shops, restaurants, bars, and rooftops. Glacier National park is only 30 minutes away with over 700 trails for hiking. There are multiple horseback riding spots, some even through the park. Go kayaking on lake Mcdonald or Whitefish lake. Rent bikes or e-bikes and hit the trails. You even may be able to catch a real rodeo within 45 minutes. Check out the "things to do" for more recommendations.
What is the best airport to fly into?
FCA - Glacier Park International Airport is the best airport to fly into as it is 15 minutes from the venue and downtown Whitefish. Flights can get expensive as it is a smaller airport, we recommend to book in advance.
MSO- Missoula Montana Airport would be the next option, it is 2.5 hours from the venue and downtown Whitefish.
BZN - Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport. This airport is 5.5 hours from the venue and downtown Whitefish. If you plan to make a longer trip and want to see Yellowstone, this would be a fine airport.
Where do you recommend to stay?
There are plenty of hotels and Airbnbs within 3 miles of the venue. Our favorite hotels are The Lodge at Whitefish Lake (where the venue is) and the Firebrand Hotel. For more recommendations look under the travel section.
