Where did Matt &amp; Shannon go to school?Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University What Bachelor's degree did they both obtain?Aerospace Engineering (concentration in Astronautics) Where did they both work immediately upon graduating?Test &amp; Operations Support Contract for the Artemis Program How did they meet?Hinge. The dating app.

And then they fell in love!

Their similar interests and passions allowed them to happily be themselves.

they launched rockets together...

Soon after they started dating, they both ended up working for SpaceX. Shannon was a Launch Controller, while Matt was (and still is) a Recovery Controller for the Falcon fleet.

and travelled...

Since being together they have greatly enjoyed travelling, including trips to Maine, Colorado, the Caribbean, Ireland, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and more.

they moved in together 

They now live together with their beloved cat, Hedwig, in a condo on the beaches of Cape Canaveral.

and got engaged!

Matt surprised Shannon at Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs the day before Thanksgiving. While she knew the ring would come eventually, she did not know when! They were able to celebrate with all their families during the holiday season.

They are looking forward to celebrating their wedding with all their friends and family!

Matt and I had a great time here! The ICEBAR is exactly how it sounds: everything is made of ice. This includes the glass you drink from, the stools you sit on, and the walls surrounding you. Once you start to shiver, they have a FIRE Bar just around the corner where your drinks bubble with dry ice or smoke from real fire. The cocktails are fun and it is a neat experience, especially to get out of the Florida heat!

ICEBAR Orlando

With a dueling piano bar and some of the best mixed drinks, this is a must-stop for Shannon &amp; Matt any time they come to I-Drive. The musicians are incredibly talented and you will not leave there without having had a great time!

Rent a kayak, paddle board, or conoe and take a trip into the gorgeous clear waters of this natural spring. You may even see otters!

Catch the end of Manatee Season at this natural spring! Such cute sea cows.

Visit the Rocket Garden, the Space Shuttle Atlantis, the Saturn V, and so much more.Shannon and Matt have both spent their careers working at the Kennedy Space Center in multiple capacities as engineers, and KSC Visitor Center gives you a glimpse into their passions.

This is a great way to experience a fun boat ride with your pals! If you book by calling, they will throw in a free dinner and 2 drink tickets! You can gamble the night away or sit out on the deck and watch the sunset and enjoy the view.

We love coming here. It is so much bigger than you could even imagine, with close to 50 historic aircraft! This makes their collection one of the largest on the East Coast. Our officiant, Ryan White, is also a volunteer here!
