As with many great modern love stories, it all started with a swipe...

Paul and Shannon first met in person in September of 2021 at the Porch restaurant on Saint Simons Island (to be exact). They first connected on Bumble a few weeks prior and discovered they had both moved to the area around the same time in late 2020/early 2021. After some friendly exchanges about all the expected things, they agreed to meet for dinner. One dinner turned into a second, and then brunch for their third date, and after that they lost track.


Thankfully they have many photos to remind them of their memories over the past few years!

One of Shannon & Paul's first pictures together at a local fundraiser on Sea Island. They had no idea that less than 3 years later they'd be getting married here.

Many of their first dates were spent exploring local sites (like climbing to the top of the Saint Simons Lighthouse). As both were relatively new to the area, they had a lot of fun finding new activities and doing some "touristy" things together.
