Do you have a room block?

We organized a room block at The Inn by Sea Island. At this time, our room block has been filled. We have additional recommendations for potential hotels on the Hotel & Travel tab of our website. If you were interested in stay at The Inn, but did not get a room, please contact Shannon or Paul and we can let you know if a room opens up.

Is transportation available from The Inn to The Cloister?

YES! Sea Island has shuttle services that can take you all over the resort. The evening of the wedding, a shuttle will be leaving the resort at 4:45pm to take guests to the wedding and shuttles will be operating continuously throughout the evening so you can return to The Inn at the time of your choosing. At request, shuttles are available to take you from The Inn over to The Cloister hotel as well as The Beach Club (both on Sea Island) or to The Lodge or Retreat Clubhouse, which are both part of the Sea Island resort located at the south end of Saint Simons Island (where the golf courses are).

What if I am driving myself? Can I get onto Sea Island?

YES! The names of all RSVP'd guests will be provided to the Sea Island security team so you can drive onto Sea Island the evening of the wedding. Valet parking or self-service parking is available at The Cloister hotel.

If I am not staying at The Inn or on Sea Island property can I get onto Sea Island?

You will have no issues getting onto Sea Island the evening of our wedding (see above). Unfortunately, if you are not staying at The Inn or on Sea Island property, you will not be able to get onto Sea Island or enter the Sea Island Beach Club outside the evening of the wedding. If you are interested in making a dinner reservation on Sea Island, playing golf or visiting the Sea Island Spa, but not staying on resort property, please reach out to Shannon or Paul directly and they will let you know what options are available.

Are children invited to the wedding?

While we love your children, our wedding is an adult-only event. If you are planning to bring your children and need child care while on Saint Simons Island, we can refer you to some potential recommended sitters.

Is there a dress code for your wedding?

Our wedding is formal attire (not black tie). Jackets and ties are required for men; long or short dresses will be appropriate for the event. Our welcome event will be a more casual, marshside affair -- ties are unnecessary, polo shirts and slacks are also appropriate.

I noticed there are no food choices - what if I have a dietary preference?

When RSVPing on the website, please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions. For our wedding dinner, all guests will receive a duet of filet and red snapper unless a dietary restriction is indicated.
