We had our first date on 10/23/2018. We walked up to the fire lookout over Martis Valley and took this picture of Lake Tahoe. 5.5 years later, this would be the spot that Evan popped the question!

We officially became a couple in March of 2019!

Our first summer together, Shawn turned Evan into a Giants fan! We still go to games several times a year with lots of friends and family.

Shawn took Evan to Disneyland for his first time ever! The magic did not disappoint either one of them and are planning on going back soon.

Soon after starting to date, Jagger (the best dog in the world) quickly made Shawn his mom.

Evan joined in on Shawn's annual Lake Tahoe family camping trip only a few months after dating. We both still attend every year and partake in the family fun.

Fall of 2019, Evan turned Shawn into a Green Bay Packers Fan! (It was the promise of a cheese head that sealed the deal)

Our first time out of the country together, we took a trip to Mexico with some friends!

Evan took Shawn to Apple Hill for her first time. This tradition continues every fall with friends old and new!

Our first Halloween together we dressed up as Doc and Marty from Evan's childhood favorite movie, Back to the Future!

We got through Covid together with lots of ups and downs. It was a blessing to have the Tahoe wilderness in our backyard and a four-legged hiking buddy to keep us sane.

We attended a friends wedding in the fall of 2020.

For Evan's birthday, we hosted a "dress as your other" party. We are known to take costume parties very seriously and this one was no exception.

Shawn and Evan decided to add another member to their family! Our cat Chip was the missing piece they didn't know they needed.

Shawn started her Master's Program in Fall of 2022 and Evan has been diligently making sure she comes home to a warm meal after every long night filled with classes.

We went to several weddings the summer of 2023! Little did Shawn know that she would soon be planning a wedding of her own.

For Evan's birthday, we hosted a Super Mario party where we dressed as Peach and Mario!

December 2023 would be the last Christmas we would spend as "boyfriend and girlfriend".

Shawn was in a wedding in June and ended up catching the bouquet! All of the other bridesmaids were bugging Evan to propose and he told them that he was popping the question the following week!

Evan took Shawn up to the place where they had their first date and proposed! We were surrounded by loving friends and family in a small celebration after the proposal.
