Where the heck is White Wolf?
White Wolf is a little sliver of heaven nestled between Palisades (what used to be Squaw Valley) and Alpine Meadows. Our friend Troy owns this property in between the two resorts and hosts weddings several times a year.
How do I get to the venue?
To get to White Wolf, drive all the way up to the Alpine Meadows parking lot and then make a right when you see a sign that says wedding.
Is there parking at the venue?
Indeed there is! White Wolf is used to hosting several weddings a year and has the parking for it. HOWEVER, we anticipate a lot of traveling guests, so if you can carpool, then all the better!
Can I stay at White Wolf?
Nope! White Wolf is a venue only. We even asked about overnight RVs and that is also a no-go (all thanks to some prior wedding parties who overstayed their welcome).
What if I'm having too much fun at the reception and need to leave my car overnight at White Wolf?
That is perfectly fine! Cars are welcome to stay over night, however guests are not. :(
What are my options for lodging?
We have a room block at Everline Resort (formerly known as Squaw Creek Resort). Here is the link: https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/group-booking/RNODH/G-388I
There are also airbnbs in the surrounding Alpine Meadows neighborhood. River Ranch Lodge is also an option and is at the bottom of Alpine Meadows Road. There is also lodging in the Tahoe City area which is about 10-15 minutes from the venue. MANY PLACES WE RESEARCHED REQUIRED A TWO NIGHT STAY MINIMUM! Just FYI, we suggest booking sooner rather than later!
What are my options for transportation if I want to party all night with the Bride and Groom?
We have a shuttle service running 3 trips from 10:30-11:30PM to take people back to the Everline Resort. You are welcome to leave cars at White Wolf over night; there is just no car camping allowed.
