Our Wedding

We first met shortly after one of us (guess who!) moved to Scottsdale. At the time, Sophia was living at her cousin Daniel’s house, and he invited his friends over to watch a Suns game, that’s when we met for the first time. The very next day, we all took a spontaneous road trip to the Water Wheel in Arizona. We didn’t know it then, but that weekend was the beginning of everything.Our first official date was at Postino’s over a charcuterie board and wine.Together, we’ve traveled to Hawaii, France, Greece, Japan, Korea, Lake Tahoe, and (most memorably) Italy where we got engaged. We’ve driven across state lines to adopt our two cats, Holly and Oreo, and we’re currently custom-building our dream home in Scottsdale. Through it all, we’ve learned that we’re both deeply driven, passionate about our careers, and even more passionate about supporting each other in everything we do.One of the things we love most about our relationship is how we push and support each other. We’re both driven in our careers, but we never lose sight of what really matters: great food, wine, traveling the world, and building a life filled with love and laughter.Steven proposed in Positano, Italy. He told me we were going to watch the sunset with a drink on a terrace by the ocean but instead, where a path of roses was waiting. It was romantic, thoughtful, and completely perfect.We can’t wait to begin this next chapter together and we’re so excited to celebrate it with all of you in Lake Como!

Owned by the Bucher family for 3 generations, Villa Serbelloni stands at the end of the Bellagio promontory, with views of Lake Como and the Alps. It features 2 gardens, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and a spa with beauty center. Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni was transformed into a luxury 5-star hotel in 1873. The property features impressive staircases and frescoed ceilings. The grand hall, the Salone Reale, features splendid chandeliers in Murano glass. Rooms are spacious and elegant, and each offers air conditioning, an LCD TV with satellite channels, and a mini-bar. The décor is classic, with soft carpeted floors, wooden furniture, and unique details. Some rooms offer views of the lake. The Mistral Restaurant was awarded with a Michelin star in 2005, and offers the chance to eat on a refined terrace with breathtaking views. La Goletta serves regional specialties in an informal setting. A full International breakfast buffet is served daily. The spa is available for wellness and beauty treatments. Owned by 4 generations of women since 1880, Hotel Belvedere offers panoramic views of Lake Como. The private garden has an outdoor swimming pool. Parking is free. The Belvedere also has a new spa with Turkish bath, sauna, therapeutic showers, and relaxation area. Face and body treatments are available in the wellness area. Rooms, suites, and apartments are elegant and stylish, and each offers air conditioning and a satellite TV. Most have a balcony or terrace with views of the garden or the lake. The panoramic restaurant has a beautiful terrace with a superb view of the lake and mountains. It is open between April and October for lunch and dinner. A sweet breakfast is served daily. Belvedere Hotel is a short walk from the center of Bellagio, a 15-minute walk from the marina, Villa Melzi and Villa Serbelloni.
