NEARBY AIRPORTS
We know most of you will be flying to Italy. We love you for doing that for us! There are two major airports near MILAN that you can choose to fly into:
MALPENSA (MXP): ~1H.40 MINUTE DRIVE TO BELLAGIO MAP IT
LINATE (LIN): ~1H.30 MINUTE DRIVE TO BELLAGIO MAP IT
BERGAMO (orio al serio) - 1h.20 MINUTE DRIVE TO BELLAGIO MAP IT
TIP #1: Make sure to look at both airports when searching for flights!
TIP #2: Don't forget your passport!
TIP #3: Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months!
FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE LAKE
RENT A CAR - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED IF YOU ARE NOT STAYING IN BELLAGIO.
We highly recommend that you rent a car at the airport so that it's easy for you to get around the lake. Car rentals from most major companies including HERTZ, AVIS, ENTERPRISE/EUROPECAR, BUDGET, DOLLAR etc. are available at both airports. TIP: Reserve your car early! **Europe has limited quantity of automatic cars!**
LIMITED TAXIS
There are taxis available at the airport once you land in Italy, however these can be expensive (€220/€250). We recommend arranging for transportation in advance through our wedding planner Aurora, simply email: aurora@lakecomoweddingsandevents.com
**Taxis are not as prevalent around the lake as you may be used to at home and can be very expensive once you're in Como!**

TRAIN TO COMO
You can also take the train from Milan to Como using this website.
Once in Como you will need to take a taxi or the ferry to Bellagio. Ferry tickets can be purchased at the counter. Ferry stops running at 7pm.
WHERE TO LOOK FOR LODGING
We recommend that all guests stay in BELLAGIO, on the east side of the lake. All hotel recommendations we've provided are within this range.
Hotels & Accommodations
Lake Como is popular during the summer months and hotels can become limited very quickly. Our wedding date September 12th is considered "high season" in Lake Como. We suggest booking at one of these quaint Italian locations.
