We first met shortly after one of us (guess who!) moved to Scottsdale. At the time, Sophia was living at her cousin Daniel’s house, and he invited his friends over to watch a Suns game, that’s when we met for the first time. The very next day, we all took a spontaneous road trip to the Water Wheel in Arizona. We didn’t know it then, but that weekend was the beginning of everything.

Our first official date was at Postino’s over a charcuterie board and wine.

Together, we’ve traveled to Hawaii, France, Greece, Japan, Korea, Lake Tahoe, and (most memorably) Italy where we got engaged. We’ve driven across state lines to adopt our two cats, Holly and Oreo, and we’re currently custom-building our dream home in Scottsdale. Through it all, we’ve learned that we’re both deeply driven, passionate about our careers, and even more passionate about supporting each other in everything we do.

One of the things we love most about our relationship is how we push and support each other. We’re both driven in our careers, but we never lose sight of what really matters: great food, wine, traveling the world, and building a life filled with love and laughter.

Steven proposed in Positano, Italy. He told me we were going to watch the sunset with a drink on a terrace by the ocean but instead, where a path of roses was waiting. It was romantic, thoughtful, and completely perfect.

We can’t wait to begin this next chapter together and we’re so excited to celebrate it with all of you in Lake Como!
