Q+A

Where do I fly in?

Venice's Marco Polo Airport !!! As this will be an international travel, please be aware you may have multiple layovers and time change(s) during travel.

Are kids allowed?

While we do love kids, we’d prefer you leave them at home in the care of loved ones for the week you’re in Italy for our special day. However, we understand that this is a destination wedding, and if you want to bring your kid(s), accommodations can be made. Please let Keegan and/or Stacey know if you plan on bringing a child(s).

What is the attire

Semi-Formal. The ceremony will be outdoors.

Where should we stay?

Hotel Villa Tacchi. More details about the hotel is located in the "Travel" section. We will be providing a shuttle bus from that location to the venue. TO BOOK the hotel, please refer to the "Booking Hotel Villa Tacchi" section.

How long should we be in Italy?

BLUF: I personally recommend having a full week or so to get the most out of your trip (i.e. 16 June to 23 June). The wedding ceremony will be Saturday the 21st, with the "Couples Shower" on the 19th of June & the Rehearsal dinner the 20th. Please add a couple days on the front end and back end for travel days and for your own exploration of this beautiful country. We understand you all are graciously taking time and money to come to our overseas wedding, so we want to make sure you have enough time to also enjoy Italy to its fullest.

DO I NEED A PASSPORT?

Yes, you will need a current passport that DOES NOT expire in June of 2025. For more informations on passports, use this link https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html

When do i need to rsvp by?

Please RSVP no later than 01 MAY 2025. Use the "RSVP" section to RSVP.

Can I bring a Date?

Due to our small and intimate venue space, we are only able to accommodate guests who are formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you have a plus one, it will appear under your name when you RSVP! Please be kind and courteous to the venue and staff, as my family is friends with the owners (it's a family owned restaurant) & they are graciously hosting and catering our wedding.

What DO I NEED to do IF I RENT A CAR?

If you plan to rent a car, it is advisable to get an international license from AAA or other services. Please ensure you notify your insurance company beforehand. I (Stacey) have done this before - so please do not hesitate to reach out if you have questions. The process is pretty simple to do!

What electronics are compatible overseas?

Most phones and computers are dual voltage but you'll need an adapter so you can plug in your devices. These are easily available on amazon if you want to purchase ahead of time. Other devices, i.e. hair dyers, straighteners, etc may not be - so confirm on the device what they are. American appliances run on 110 volts, while European appliances are 220 volts. Most devices are "dual voltage," which means they work on both American and European current. If you see a range of voltages printed on the item or its plug (such as "110–220"), you're ok in Europe but will need a plug adapter for the wall. If it is only American voltage, you'd need a converter - at that point, I just recommend leaving that device at home.
