Right at the onset of Covid-19 (a few months after meeting Stacey), Josh decided to leave NYC and stay with his family in Cape Cod. During this time, Stacey and Josh would meet halfway in Connecticut to spend their dates hiking. This is our first picture together!

Universal Studios Trip - Everybody loves roller coasters and dinosaurs! Josh loves dinosaurs... Stacey was there for the Harry Potter section (no surprise there).

We had a great time exploring the beautiful island of Puerto Rico with Stacey as the tour guide. Josh got to see where Stacey's family was from, and the two hiked the rainforest, kayaked in a bio-luminescent bay, and ate some delicious food.

Every year we do Christmas-themed pajamas with Stacey's family. I think the shirts in the picture say it all.

Josh and Stacey moved into their first apartment together in Spring 2023. After driving and busing between Rockland and Astoria for too many years, it was time! We settled in White Plains, a great area close to our friends & work in the city and friends & family in Rockland.

Josh and Stacey have been in a graduate program throughout their entire relationship. This was Josh's graduation from his Masters program at Baruch College. He'll be starting his MBA program in 2025. Wish him luck!

Our first international trip together was to Costa Rica. We had many adventures; seeing volcanos & waterfalls, boat tours, hiking throughout the rainforest, and ziplining. Stacey's least favorite activity was crossing the suspension bridges in the jungle.

Josh and Stacey spent months looking for the right dog. Little Ozzie wasn't easy to find and sometimes great things come unexpectedly - we picked up Ozzie earlier than we wanted to get a dog and at a very busy time for us. Stacey had no idea Josh was preparing to propose (oops sorry!) Anyway, Ozzie was a welcome addition to our little family <3

Stacey's graduation from her second master's program. Josh was her rock through it all and boy did she need that rock to survive this quick-paced program.

The Engagement Story: Josh told Stacey to take a random Friday off and leave her weekend empty of plans. At 5 AM, Josh told Stacey to start packing a bag for an unknown destination. Unfortunately, he couldn't secretly find her passport, and had to divulge they would be leaving the country. Stacey only realized they were heading to St. Lucia on the bag drop-off line. A few days later, Josh proposed on the Paul Tet Nature trail overlooking the Piton mountains in the distance (and Stacey putting the ring on the wrong finger).

The Engagement Story (part two): Pictured is our guide in St. Lucia who was in close communication with Josh throughout the trip. The other guide that was leading us on the hike was almost as surprised and excited as Stacey, and told us that special morning had made his whole month.

Engagement Party: The Salva family hosted an awesome engagement party filled with family, friends, food, and music. Having all our close friends and family in one place (many meeting for the first time) meant so much to us.

Josh and Stacey decided to head to one of their favorite hiking spots in New Paltz - Lake Minnewasksa and Awastening Falls. They got to meet their awesome photographer and see some beautiful fall foliage. Unfortunately the champagne didn't want to shoot up :(
