What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?

The ceremony and reception are both at Running Deer Golf Club: 1111 Parvin Mill Rd, Pittsgrove, NJ 08318

How and when do I RSVP?

A RSVP section will be posted on this site when you recieve the formal invitation. You'll be able to enter your name and RSVP for you and your party. You will also be able to enter your meal choice.

Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget (you know how expensive weddings are these days). Our celebration is RSVP only, and we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

Can my kids come?

Although we adore your children, we have decided to make our big day an adults-only event.

What about dietary restrictions?

When you RSVP, you’ll have the opportunity to select your meal and indicate any special dietary requirements. While we do offer a vegetarian option, please note that we are unable to provide a kosher/kosher-style option.

What should I wear?

Cocktail attire is requested. This style is semi-formal, such as suits or dressy separates for men and cocktail dresses or polished separates for women.

How can I get to the venue?

We will have a shuttle bus picking up guests at the hotel before the ceremony starts and dropping off at the hotel throughout the night. We will provide an update on the shuttle times here when they're confirmed. If you would prefer to drive, the venue has a large parking lot out front.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM at Running Deer Golf Club. We kindly ask all guests to arrive by 5:00 PM. For those arriving early, the venue has a sports bar available for your convenience.

Where do I park?

There is plenty of parking at the venue parking lot right in front of the entrance. If you're staying at the Wingate Hotel by Wyndam, feel free to leave your car at the hotel and take the shuttle bus to and from Running Deer.

Are there any accessibility options?

The venue is handicap friendly with only one floor. The venue also offers golf cart services for those who need assistance walking to and from the venue and ceremony site. Handicap parking is also available. Please let either Stacey or Josh know if a golf cart service is needed so the venue can have a driver ready for you.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Weather permitting: The ceremony will be held outdoors behind the venue at the Timbers (a short walk from the reception hall). The cocktail hour will also be held outdoors on the patio. The reception events will be held indoors but the outdoor areas will be open and accessible throughout the evening as well.

Where should I stay?

We have reserved a block of rooms at the Wingate Hotel by Wyndam. Please refer to the Travel & Accommodations page for more information.

Where do we fly into?

The nearest airport to the venue is Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), followed by Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR).

What can I expect in a Jewish Ceremony?

At a Jewish wedding, you can expect a beautiful blend of meaningful rituals and joyous celebration. The ceremony often includes traditional elements like the chuppah (a canopy symbolizing the couple's future home), the signing of a ketubah (marriage contract), and the exchange of rings. You’ll also see the breaking of a glass, symbolizing the fragility of life and the importance of joy even in challenging times. The reception typically features lively music and traditional dances, such as the hora, where guests lift the couple in chairs. It’s a joyous and warm occasion that emphasizes community, family, and tradition. Other traditions and symbolism: Circling each other: Circling symbolizes the creation of a new home and the intertwining of the lives of both partners. Wearing yarmulke's, or head coverings, are typically worn by male guests at a Jewish ceremony Seven Blessings are are adapted from ancient rabbinic teachings, beginning with the blessing over the wine and ending with a communal expression of joy. Cups of Wine: wine represents joy in Judaism (no surprise there!)

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift a wedding card box will be at our reception. If you would like to send a present, packages can be delivered to the Salva residence at 26 Knox Street, West Haverstraw, New York, 10993. Our registry list will be added to this site soon.

What should I do if I can’t attend?

Please indicate on the RSVP card if you are unable to attend. If there are multiple people in your party and one or more cannot attend, kindly note this on the RSVP card and reach out to Stacey or Josh.
