Our Love Story

Picture of Our Love Story

Dan and Staci were both in a place in their life where they had gone on a bunch of dates and were about to give up. Both had said to themselves, before their first date, that this was the last date for a while. They had connected on tinder, and after two weeks of talking they met up at the Point in Central Point. They sat at the bar drinking cocktails and sharing stories. Staci wasn't quite sure if she was friend zoned, because if you've met Dan, he's about the friendliest person you could meet.

It wasn't until halfway through the date when Dan interrupted Staci, he said, "I'm sorry but I just have to tell you, you are so incredibly beautiful!" Staci blushed and said thank you, but deep down the butterflies started, no one these days has the courage to say something like that to someone’s face, and of course not on the first date, but Dan is built different than most men.

After a couple drinks they said goodnight and Dan went to his grandpas, it wasn't but 10 minutes later he texted Staci and said, "I'm actually not ready to say goodbye, what are you doing right now?" They had one more drink and talked the night away.

Dan and Staci were pretty much inseparable after that. They spent a couple nights a week together talking about absolutely everything, because if you know Staci, you know she loves deep conversation.

Dan introduced Staci to his favorite pastime, shooting guns in the woods and quickly introduced her to some of his friends and family. And Staci slowly dipped Dan's toes into life with the Stringers. They came from two different worlds growing up but couldn't be a better match.

Staci had always been incredibly forthcoming about her Arthritis diagnosis and what life would be like, and it never scared Dan, he's a natural born caretaker.

Dan has been there for Staci on her good days and bad days, through personal and family sickness, at weddings and dance floors, and bars, these two have fun wherever they are. Staci taunts Dan with parmesan cheese (or any crumb really) to highlight his nervous tick of wiping counters and tables off. They are playful and loving and absolutely love hosting family and friends at their home.

One of their favorite places to go is to Bandon to spend a little weekend with some salt air and seafood and throwing the ball for Gus on the Oregon Coast. They love old fashions and whiskey and sitting in the kitchen talking about their future together.

Staci says she never could have dreamed up someone as loving and caring and thoughtful as Dan.

Staci and Dan cannot wait to celebrate our wedding with you all! This love story was WORTH THE WAIT!

xx,
