Our Story
OUR STORY
Stef and Solomon met when they were both in university in 2012. Stef was doing a semester abroad in Uganda and met Solomon through their mutual friend, Cynthia.
After making it official on March 10, 2012, they dated in Uganda until Stef had to go back to the USA to finish her Bachelor's degree. She moved back to Uganda at the end of 2013 and the couple has been living happily together in Uganda ever since.
On September 6, 2023, Stef and Solomon got officially engaged and then legally married (one day later!) in Kauai, Hawaii and started planning their "real wedding" to be held with friends and family in Uganda on their one year anniversary of marriage (Sept 7, 2024).

Stef and Solomon become cat parents to the sweetest, formerly stray cat, Kitty Boo. Solomon is unimpressed at first, but quickly falls in love with her too. Stef decides Solomon can stay.

Stef and Solomon celebrate a friend's wedding on the Kenyan coast. Stef starts to wonder when THEY will ever get married....Solomon avoids the question.
