Wedding day at Kyaninga Lodge, Fort Portal!
September 08, 2024
Those who want to go on a post-wedding trip will first relax around Fort Portal and explore some of the area's several crater lakes. Those staying at Kyaninga Lodge and Nsaho Resort will check out and spend the night of Sept 8 in a hotel in Fort Portal town.
Those who want to return to Kampala can do so (we will help arrange your separate transportation back if needed).

The trip-goers will embark on safari. We will visit Murchison Falls National Park for 2 nights, arriving Sept 9 and leaving Sept 11.
September 11, 2024
From Murchison, we will stop for the night of Sept 11 at Amuka Lodge in Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. We will "track" the rhinos on foot in the early evening and view them from a safe distance in a huge sanctuary set up like their natural environment for their protection. Stef has done this 6 times and it's easily her favorite Uganda experience!

We will return to Entebbe (close to the airport) and stay overnight in a hotel, preparing to fly on Friday, September 13.
