Boston and Cambridge have too many good restaurants to fully list, but here are some of our favorites:
- Pastoral, Fort Point neighborhood. Wood-fired Neapolitan ARTisanal pizzas and handcrafted pastas. If you're looking for an appetizer, get the hummus. This is where we had our first date!
- Lone Star Taco Bar, East Cambridge: Our go-to place to get tacos and margaritas with friends in our neighborhood. They do an elevated Cruchwrap Supreme!
- Sarma, Somerville: This may be our favorite restaurant in Boston. Mediterranean small plates. Either get a reservation a month in advance or walk in to sit at the bar!
- Legal Seafoods, multiple locations: The quintessential seafood restaurant in Boston. The Seaport location, called Legal Harborside, has a roof deck that overlooks the water
- Peach Farm, Chinatown: A classic Boston Chinatown seafood (and everything food) restaurant!
- China Pearl, Chinatown: If you're looking for Dim sum on Sunday morning
- The Daily Catch, North End: Tiny but mighty Italian restaurant specializing in seafood pastas, served right in the pan
- Giacomo's, North End: Classic Italian restaurant
For your Sweet Tooth
- Toscanini's, Central Square and East Cambridge: The best ice cream in Boston!
- New City Creamery, Central Square Cambridge: Others think this is the best ice cream in Boston
- Flour Bakery, multiple locations: Our favorite, homestyle local bakery and cafe empire!
- Tatte, multiple locations: The French local bakery cafe empire
We love going to local breweries, dive bars, and cocktail bars alike. Here are a few of our favorites:
- Trillium Brewing Company: Craft beer with urban locations in Fenway, Fort Point, and a beer garden along the Rose Kennedy Greenway
- Lamplighter Brewing Company: Craft beer with 2 locations in Cambridge, the closest to us being in Cambridge Crossing
- Sam Adams Brewery: The original is in Jamaica Plain (our favorite), and an expansive taproom is located in the heart of Fanueil Hall
- Cusser's Roast Beef and Seafood: Don't let the name fool you. This bar has some of the best craft cocktails in Boston and is located in the Back Bay neighborhood
- State Park: Dive bar in Cambridge with pool, darts, juke box, and surprisingly great food!
Parks:
- Charles River Esplanade
- Emerald Necklace Park System
- Boston Common/Public Garden
Neighborhoods:
- Central Square: The Cambridge neighborhood where our venue is located. Lots of restaurants and unique shops. Sits between the Harvard and MIT campuses
- Harvard Square: The classic Cambridge neighborhood that houses Harvard University. Lots of shops, and of course the classic Harvard Yard
- Fenway: Boston neighborhood that houses Fenway Park, part of the Emerald Necklace park system, and well as bars and restaurants including Trillium and Time Out Market
- Back Bay: Boston Neighborhood with classic brownstones and a lot of shopping along Newbury Street and Boylston Street. Also the home of the iconic Boston Public Library.
- North End: Little Italy! Wander along Hanover Street and decide which has the best cannoli: Mike's Pastry or Modern Pastry. Want a late night snack? Bova's Bakery is open 24 hours
- Fort Point/Seaport: Pete's old neighborhood! The most newly developed and trendy neighborhood in Boston with plenty of places to eat, shop, and wander. Plenty of entertainment with upscale versions of darts at Flight Club, indoor mini golf at Puttshack, simulation racing at the F1 Arcade bar, bowling at King's, and a large beer garden at Cisco's
