On Friday we'll move the festivities to the Ponderosa! This is a small community just up the road from the Lodge, where Brett's family has a cabin and access to amenities we can enjoy together. We'll likely BBQ, play yard games, hang out in the pool or go down to the river. This is an informal and unstructured day, so if you'd like to go take in the sites or schedule an adventure please feel free! We'll update options for site seeing and other activities as we get closer to the date.

One of our favorite things to do in the summer in Plain is float the river! This is open to everyone, kiddos included, and we hope you'll join us! Please bring your tube or paddle board, a cooler or bag for your drinks, and don't forget the sunscreen! We'll meet at the clubhouse at noon and caravan to the lake entry point. We will also drop off the pickup cars at that time and consolidate our floaters so we have minimal number of vehicles at the lake (parking)! Best part is that our float will be guided by Brett, who knows the river well - including all the best swimming spots and sandbars to chill on. We'll start at Lake Wenatchee and hop out at the Pondo load up to head back to the cabin and BBQ afterward.
