Olivia Phillips is Brett's sweet little girl. She will be 11 years old at the time of our wedding and is a source of joy in the family, regularly teasing or calling out the silliness the adults are up to with a certain talent for roasting like a teenager already. She attends 5th grade at Holy Rosary School in West Seattle along with her brother Carter. Olivia discovered a talent for Volleyball last year and had an instant love for the sport. She started by playing on the school recreational team, and is now a team member on West Seattle Reign Volleyball League. We are very proud of her dedication to honing her skills on the court, and growing as a teammate with her friends. When Olivia isn't dominating the court, she loves to spend time with her friends in Seattle area, and to visit Leavenworth for skiing in the winter and exploring the outdoors in the summer. Stephanie and Olivia have really hit it off well and enjoy spending time together. You can find the two of them baking in the kitchen on weekends, doing homework together on weeknights, and curled up watching late night movies with a bucket of popcorn and ten thousand blankets.

Carter Phillips is sweet like a box of sour patch kids. Just kidding, Carter is Brett's rowdy (almost) 8 year old and he is everything you think of when you think of a little boy. He loves to play sports with his friends; soccer, football, baseball, you name it, and he has a natural talent for all of them. He is outgoing and funny, loves to laugh, and also has a special gift for getting in trouble at school (lol). Carter attends Holy Rosary Elementary School along with his big sister, and is a popular boy in his 2nd grade class. Carter discovered a love for mechanics/engineering the last year or two. He LOVES Legos, and he and Steph built a pinball machine at Christmas last year - he loved that one so much he played it until the launcher fell apart entirely. Understanding how things assemble together and function as a unit is a curiosity we're excited to watch him develop further. He also loves to visit Leavenworth and stay at the cabin in the Pondo. In the winter, the four of us have made it a tradition to ski at Stevens Pass nearly every weekend - it's been great to see Carter out skiing with Stephanie and his sister; and last summer, we camped at Lake Wenatchee where Carter had the opportunity to take a mud bath!
