Honestly, it was an inside joke that's spiraled out of control haha. 😂😂

We scrolled across a silly meme (above) while on our first trip together in Mexico, which collided with a brutally honest crack from my (Steph's) Mom Merriah who had us both laughing until we were in tears...

And then Meatbird morphed into a nickname that's stuck. Brett wanders around the house yelling "MEATBIRD" randomly, so yes the kiddos also call me Meatbird at intervals. Mostly Carter I think because he loves how wacky it sounds lol.

Then while we were trying to come up with a wedding site and photo hashtag that hasn't been used a hundred times already, Brett popped up with "Marry Me Meatbird" from the other end of the couch, and I laughed out loud because it's ridiculous and also totally unique, and I couldn't top it even though I tried... so here we are. #marrymemeatbird
