Contramar: Our favorite seafood restaurant! The two absolute must dishes are the tuna tostadas and the whole grilled fish. Reservation required.

Expendio De Maiz: Only open for lunch (it closes at 5pm), and has only 4 tables. There’s no menu, it’s basically Mexican Omakase. Go on the earlier side to avoid a wait. Cash only.

Rosetta: Another World’s Top 50 restaurant, and this year it received a Michelin star! It's a beautiful restaurant inside a townhouse, with a menu that’s predominantly Italian with a Mexican twist. Across the street from her famous bakery and coffee shop (Panaderia Rosetta).

Masala y Maiz: This restaurant is unbelievable - the menu offers a mix of South Asian, East African and Mexican cuisines and natural wines. It won a ton of awards when it opened in 2018.

Casa Virginia: Located in a beautiful town house, featuring a changing seasonal menu that takes creative advantage of Mexico’s wide-ranging culinary variety. Its family-style servings are great for sharing.

Quintonil: Another World’s Top 50 restaurant, and this year it received two Michelin stars! Delicious, light, mixing Mexican heritage with contemporary cuisine.
